Jay Duplass' first film 'The Puffy Chair' was written and directed with his brother Mark. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2005 and earned two Independent Spirit Award nominations. The brothers followed up with two more award-winning indies, premiering 'Baghead' at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and 'The Do-Deca-Pentathlon' at SXSW. In 2010, Jay and Mark released their first studio film, the dramedy 'Cyrus,' which stars Jonah Hill and John C. Reilly and was nominated for a Critic's Choice Award. In addition to writing scripts for studios, the Duplass brothers regularly produce independent films such as 'Safety Not Guaranteed,' 'The Skeleton Twins' and 'The One I Love.'
