In Nome, Alaska, the gold rush is on. Driven by gold fever and sometimes desperate need, miners pilot their ragtag dredges and dive with hoses to suck up gold from the bottom of the frigid, unpredictable Bering Sea.
1. Virgin Ground
Winter mining has begun and Shawn opens his claim to the fleet for a price.
2. Fear the Reaper
Shawn intervenes when the Kellys encroach on Vern's mining spot.

Flu sweeps through the fleet, leaving the divers unable to dredge for gold.
