Just Another Quiet Day on Sesame Street
While Luis makes a coffee run, he asks Krystal to answer the Fix-It Shop’s phone. While out and about Luis sees Sam the Robot and Mr. Macintosh. When back at the shop Luis get some inspiration to make something out of the metal he found in an old toolbox. He sends the kids off to play promising a surprise when they return. Once the kids return, Luis shows them what he made. It's a metal bird and he suggests they go and show it to Big Bird. Meanwhile, Big Bird is playing a game of follow the leader with his grown-up friends. Snuffy secretly joins in on the fun without anyone noticing.
Cookie Monster’s Cousin Apple Monster Visits
Cookie Monster is waiting for the arrival of his country cousin, Apple Monster, and asks Luis to keep a look out. Apple Monster arrives and Luis is convinced that he is Cookie Monster in disguise with a scheme to obtain more cookies. Luis baits Apple Monster with a cookie but he declines and instead wants Luis' apple. He eats it to the core. Apple Monster then finishes another apple from Hooper's Store, and starts to dig in on the selections from Mr. McIntosh's fruit cart. Still not convinced, Luis and David offer more cookies, but Apple Monster declines. When Cookie Monster returns, he gladly takes the cookies offered to his cousin and they were both pleased with the snacks given to them. Grover takes the job as an elevator operator in Oscar's trash can but Oscar soon fires him.
A Cold Day on Sesame Street
It is windy and cold on Sesame Street! Big Bird and friends cannot stay warm. Maria suggests exercising to get warm. Her idea works! Big Bird exercises so much he gets hot and needs to cool off. Meanwhile, Oscar decides to prank his friends. Using a microphone and radio, he broadcasts a phony weather bulletin about a snowstorm. The adults realize Oscar is playing a prank! When Oscar is caught in his lie giving them advice on how to prepare for a snowstorm, he vows to make them think a snowstorm is really coming. He uses a block of ice, a fan, and fake snow! The adults huddle and play along with Oscar’s prank. After bundling up and getting a snow shovel, Maria decides they should ask Oscar why he created a fake snowstorm. As they approach his trash can, it really begins to snow!
Shoveling Snow on Sesame Street
There is fresh snow on Sesame Street! Oscar prefers when the snow is mixed with mud, garbage, and soot. He saves a fresh bucket of snow to mix with mud and soot. Bob is unhappy he got dirty holding Oscar’s snow bucket and dumps it out on the street. At that moment, a car drives through the mud and splashes Bob with it! Bob is frustrated to get mud splashed. He cheers up and sings and plays in the snow with the neighborhood children. They even go sledding! Bob also plays “Three of These Things” as he teaches children the difference between different kinds of shovels. Later, Susan finds her car buried in snow! Big Bird offers her tools to dig it out, such as an axe and a spoon. He finally gives her a shovel to dig out the car but then another snowplow buries her car in snow again.
A Sesame Winter Wonderland
As Bob and Linda dig in the snow, kids see a “U”, the letter of the day. Sherlock Hemlock helps Luis look for his lost pencil. Luis describes the pencil as yellow, and then long and thin. Sherlock Hemlock thinks it is Big Bird and then a baseball bat. Luis finally finds the pencil on his ear. Sherlock Hemlock believes he solved the case. As it snows, Bob sings “Snow, Snow, Snow” showing how he loves playing in the snow with his friends. Bob’s friends sing along, shovel snow, gather on the stoop, and throw snowballs. Oscar asks David for help putting a hat on to stay warm in the snow. As Oscar corrects him, David finally pulls the hat over Oscar’s face, just the way he likes it. Inside Mr. Hooper’s store, David sees Luis and Bob singing “Three of These Things” with warm winter outerwear.
Big Bird Mails a Snowball
It is a snowy day on Sesame Street. Maria analyzes footprints belonging to David, Gordon, and Big Bird. David’s footprints lead to Mr. Hooper’s store. Gordon’s footprints lead to a path where he shovels snow. Big Bird’s footprints lead to the mailbox where he is mailing a package to his cousin in Florida! Maria reminds Big Bird not to mail a snowball because it will melt. Instead, he is mailing an icicle. Maria and David see Oscar’s new Dial-a-Grouch phone service and try it. They like the service as it makes them feel better when they have small problems! David and Maria realize that, no matter how bad something is, it could always be worse. Oscar was disappointed that his business made people happy, so he goes out of business. Later, as Bob pronounces a word, snow is dumped on his head.
Electric Company Meets Sesame Street
Early in the morning, Big Bird greets the viewers and says his job today is to make sure things are quiet for everyone who's still asleep. Then, Millie, the milk delivery person from Electric Company asks what's going on. Big Bird tells her. She thinks they will need more help to keep everything quiet. She loudly calls out, “Hey You Guys!” and she disturbs and wakes up many of the sleeping neighbors. She realizes her mistake, and splits. Next, a delivery man delivers stacks of newspapers to Hooper’s Store as The Count counts to 1,253 newspapers! David is shocked to see this and wonders who could buy up all these newspapers. Easy Reader strolls by and purchases them all after reading the headlines “Gorilla Escapes from Electric Company” and “Naomi Found and Lost Again.”

Headline Howie Gets the Scoop on Snuffy
After Big Bird leaves Mr. Snuffleupagus to go to the library, Snuffy mopes around Sesame Street counting everyone who does not notice him, including Susan, Gordon, Mr. MacIntosh, Cookie Monster, David, Bob, Maria, Mr. Hooper, Willy the hot dog man, and Luis. When Big Bird returns, he quickly calls everyone around asking if they saw his friend since they planned to watch television together. Everyone becomes frustrated to hear of Big Bird’s “ridiculous, imaginary friend” again. Nobody has seen Snuffy and Big Bird can not prove he is real. Big Bird is frustrated that nobody believes him since Snuffy is real. Newspaper reporter Headline Howie learned of everyone’s frustration and creates multiple catchy headlines about the situation.
Big Bird Runs for President
Big bird decides he wants to be president. Maria, David and Luis explain that being president is not as easy as it seems. You need years of school and you need to be able to make very important decisions. The adults decide to pretend Big Bird is president so that he can really see what it would be like. President Big Bird make holidays for birds, but everyone explains that America is made up of all types of people and animals - not only birds. Everyone begins stating their problems, which overwhelms Big Bird. Instead of helping, he decides he will roller skate. David explains that as President, he needs to stay and help people. Big Bird realizes that being president is not all fun and games!
Luis Hires Maria to Work at the Fix-It Shop
Luis is overwhelmed with all his work at the Fix-It Shop. As everyone is calling the shop, Luis becomes swamped with work. Maria decides to help her friends by fixing Big Bird’s clock and Spencer’s wagon. Maria expresses her interest in working with Luis and he is happy to have the new help! Meanwhile, the Count decides to count all the cold people on Sesame Street. He spots Maria and Luis working hard in the Fix-It Shop. Since they are nice and warm in the shop, the Count leaves disappointed. He then visits Mr. Hooper’s and sees people drinking hot cocoa. The Count can’t find anyone who is as cold as he is. He realizes is the only cold person on Sesame Street! After he counts himself, he joins the others for some warm hot chocolate.
Mr. Hooper Goes Back to School
Mr. Hooper is not in his shop - where can he be? David and Big Bird find Mr. Hooper reading a book but he tries to hide it when they walk over. David asks what he's hiding, and Mr. Hooper admits he is studying for night classes to get his High School diploma. David and Big Bird tell Mr. Hooper he has nothing to be embarrassed about - that's great news! Later, Rodeo Rosie lassos Big Bird and Susan because she thinks they are stealing from Mr. Hooper. Mr. Hooper explains to Rosie that his customers aren't thieves because they bought their groceries. He assures her a thief will run out of his store, instead of walking. Just then, Mr. Hooper runs out of the store to give David something he left behind. Rosie lassos Mr. Hooper by accident.
Sing-Along in Ernie and Bert’s Bathroom
Bert is taking a bath alone when Ernie comes in with his piano to sing a song. Bert insists he will not sing along with Ernie. Ernie however, explains that singing will make Bert happy. Bert thinks the song is done but Ernie has invited his friends to sing with him. David brings his guitar, Gordon brings his bass and Bob and Maria come ready with their vocals. They all begin to sing and play their instruments. However, it doesn’t end there! Big Bird joins with his xylophone, the Count walks in counting and Grover enters with his ukulele. Finally, after many songs, Bert decides to sing along. Together, Bert and his friends sing happily, their music being heard throughout Sesame Street.
The 25th Anniversary of Hooper's Store
The viewer surprises Grover, who is listening to the Sesame Street theme song. Mr. Snuffleupagus sees all of the adults in the arbor, and suggests that Big Bird should meet all of them today. The adults decide to go to the park and leave the arbor completely empty, and Big Bird tells Snuffy he has "a great imagination". Bob gives a music lesson to Gladys the cow. Mr. Hooper has decorated the store to commemorate its 25th anniversary, and everyone goes stops by to celebrate. Grover is astonished to find there is no one on Sesame Street. At the last possible moment, just as he starts to announce the sponsors, everyone surprises him.
Linda’s Birthday
Oscar's TV is busted, only showing picture and no sound. He frets missing his favorite programs on Grouch TV, until he remembers that Linda can read lips and help transcribe the shows for him. She shows him signs for different types of weather so he'll know them when she signs them. Today is Linda's birthday and everyone has prepared surprise gifts for her. Big Bird wheels over his gift, a phonograph and speaker. Everyone points out that Linda won't be able to use the gift because she can't hear the music. Big Bird sulks but Linda shows how she can enjoy it, by feeling the vibrations of the music by feeling the speaker.
The Count Woos the Countess
The Count is love sick, he tells Maria he is in love with the Countess von Numeral who lives above the drug store: she's Transylvanian, and she loves to count. Maria suggests that he tells her how he feels, but The Count insists on wooing her. The Count brings The Countess flowers and bat-shaped chocolates, but all she does is count her gifts. The Count is devastated, and Maria urges him to profess his love, once again. Then, The Count announces himself to the Countess, and declares that he has one more thing for her to Count. He gives her a kiss, which is followed by a moment of silence, until she counts it: "one kiss!" The Count says that he hopes The Countess can count to 100.
Oscar Welcomes Olivia to Sesame Street
Big Bird asks everyone around Sesame Street if they need any help, but they're all busy doing other things. Seeing how frustrated this makes him, everyone separately asks him to do different things, leaving him with a problem: whom to help first. Olivia is walking down Sesame Street looking sad, so Big Bird asks her what's wrong. She doesn't want to get into it and continues to the steps of 123 Sesame Street where she's greeted by Bob playing his recorder. On their way to the arbor, she tells him she applied for several jobs throughout the day, but no one was hiring. Mr. Hooper says he doesn't have a job to offer, but brings her some fresh lemonade. Big Bird and the kids arrive with some drawings they made for her, and cheer her up.
Oscar’s Home Video
Oscar hosts a home video screening! Bob, Luis, Mr. Hooper, and friends join Oscar. But are afraid his current videos will be like his last batch of home videos, all black. This time, Oscar’s videos are all white! Everyone guesses what the sounds are, but nobody can see anything. Some of the sounds include a cow mooing, a cat meowing, and a jet plane flying overhead. Disappointed, Oscar’s friends leave his screening, and some of the kids boo him for the bad movies. Luis goes back to his shop, where Big Bird later visits. Big Bird and Luis review the difference between “here” and “there” as Big Bid writes a letter to his Granny. Big Bird thinks Luis is not being nice to him, and he calls Luis a Grouch. Luis feels badly and sings a song, “Drat”, reflecting on why he was grouchy to Big Bird.
Flying to Hawaii
It’s time to visit Hawaii! Bob and Maria teach Big Bird about packing before they join Mr. Hooper, Olivia, and Oscar to travel to the airport. Snuffy plans to follow Big Bird, but the bus leaves without him and he must figure out how to go to Hawaii by himself. At the airport, everyone learns about metal detectors. Oscar empties his trash can to walk through security! Big Bird meets the pilot and learns how the airplane works. When it is time to board the plane, Big Birds asks if anyone has seen Mr. Snuffleupagus. As the airplane takes off, Snuffy arrives at the airport and wonders how he can get to Hawaii now. Everyone buckles their seatbelts for the flight. The plane takes off. For the first time in his life, Big Bird gets to fly! Oscar complains about the in-flight movie and the food.
Snuffy Arrives in Hawaii
As the plane lands in beautiful Hawaii, Oscar’s belongings fall out of the compartment. Big Bird is sad that Mr. Snuffleupagus didn’t make the flight. Buffy and Sheldon greet their friends from Sesame Street! Just as they leave, Snuffy arrives in Hawaii by helicopter and searches for Big Bird. At a fruit stand, Mr. Hooper sees exotic Hawaiian fruits he does not have at his store. Oscar discovers he likes teepees at the Indian reservation. After meeting Buffy and Sheldon’s friends and family, Maria and Olivia admire local flowers. On a scenic walk to a lake, Big Bird and Snuffy are reunited! Everyone gathers around a fire and listens to Keola and Buffy play instruments. Keola tells the legend of Mount Snuffleupagus. Instead of going to bed, Big Bird decides to go find Mount Snuffleupagus!
Meeting Buffy's Friends
Everyone boards the truck to explore Hawaii. Oscar sees Buffy and children discussing their nationalities. Oscar learns about lava, luaus, and how everyone keeps Hawaii clean and beautiful. Big Bird and Snuffy journey to find Mt. Snuffleupagus, but they find a gorilla-shaped mountain before realizing Mt. Snuffleupagus is right behind them. Bob and Maria learn a song to bring home to the Sesame Street kids and Bob teaches the Hawaiian kids a song about parts of the face. The kids teach Bob and Maria to count to ten in Hawaiian. Olivia learns about “shaka”, the Hawaiian slang word for “peace” and eats some poi. Later, she and Keola share stories about their grandfathers and music. At night, Olivia sings a song about nice people, with Keola playing guitar.
Big Bird and Snuffy Search for Mount Snuffleupagus
Everyone is ready for another outing in Hawaii. Oscar wants to drive an old beat-up truck. Big Bird and Snuffy stay behind to look for Mt. Snuffleupagus. They think they found it, but it is the “Mt. Hole-in-the-Mountain.” Buffy and kids sing an Indian heritage song. Bob and Mr. Hooper try hula dancing after seeing Keola and Kapona demonstrate. Big Bird and Snuffy also try it. Keola teaches Bob some romantic signs that he can show Linda. He then calls Linda back home and Luis translates. He asks Luis to hold his hand up to Linda and drop the third and fourth fingers. Linda signs the same for Bob. Luis did not know that he was interpreting “I love you” for them. Big Bird and Buffy see many types of Hawaiian plants. Buffy puts a flower by Big Bird’s ear. Bob learns to play Hawaiian games.
Mr. Hooper Learns to Surf
On their quest to find Mount Snuffleupagus, Big Bird, Snuffy and some kids see Mt. Sleeping Giant which looks like a giant man sleeping. During a rainstorm, Keola stays under cover and sings “Three Blind Mice” with the children. Much to his chagrin, Oscar learns that “aloha” means nice things. Mr. Hooper tries surfing in the ocean. Later, he and Bob swim and play with the children in the ocean! Kapono counts to ten in Hawaiian. Snuffleupagus gets homesick after speaking to his mommy on the phone. Back at the beach, Maria and Bob see many shells. Oscar learns about seashells and plays a prank on Maria. When she looks at the shell, it squirts water in her face! Big Bird finally sees Mt. Snuffleupagus! Just as Snuffy leaves, the adults find Big Bird and tell him it is time to go home.
Farewell Luau
On their final day in Hawaii, Big Bird organizes Cody’s 1st birthday luau. He delegates all responsibilities; then realizes he is left with nothing to do. He asks Snuffy to find seashells and gets lost on his way back to the party. Everyone prepares for the party by picking flowers, weaving hats, and getting coconuts from palm trees. Buffy praises Big Bird for organizing a beautiful luau. Cody’s birthday luau is complete with a Hawaiian rendition of “Happy Birthday”, a birthday cake, a blessing, and presents. Kapono and Olivia compare traditional Hawaiian foods to food back home, and everyone hula dances. At the end of the party, everyone sings a song about remembering friends. The next day, the gang heads to the airport. Big Bird looks for Snuffy and then feels the stroke of his snuffle.
James Earl Jones visits Hooper’s Store
A limousine stops by Hooper’s Store. The man inside asks Mr. Hooper for an old-fashioned egg cream. When Mr. Hooper says yes, James Earl Jones excitedly enters. As Mr. Hooper makes the drink, he recognizes the movie star. He asks him to autograph a paper plate. Big Bird enters and learns about movie stars. Bob and Maria enter and are so star-struck that they prevent Mr. Jones from sipping his drink. Mr. Hooper makes him another one. James Earl Jones enjoys the egg cream just as he remembered. Later Big Bird returns in his movie star costume. The adults play along asking for his autograph. Big Bird heads out the door, sees the limo and gets in. Mr. Hooper makes another egg cream for James Earl Jones to go. As they all leave the store, the limo drives off with Big Bird in the backseat.
Bert Meets Bertha
Olivia is watching Mr. Hooper’s store. Bert asks for a flat soda water. Olivia suggests cherry syrup or ice cream to make the drink more interesting. After Olivia remarks how Bert must be the only person who prefers his soda water plain, Bertha enters and orders the same drink! Later, Bertha has Bert guess what her pet is. It’s a pigeon! Bertha just brought her pigeon, Francine, to the vet, because she was lonely. Bert introduces his pigeon, Gus, so she can have a friend. Bert sings a love song to Bertha about their similarities, including music, oatmeal, paperclips, and checkers. Later, Bert and Bertha share a soda pop. Bertha confesses she does not like soda pop. She only drinks it to add caps to her bottle cap collection. Enamored, Bert and Bertha begin comparing their collections.
Big Bird Gets His Tonsils Removed
Olivia and her friend, Dr. Ramos see that Big Bird is not feeling well. Dr. Ramos examines Big Bird and finds his tonsils are very swollen and red. Dr. Ramos suggests Big Bird have his tonsils removed. Olivia and Dr. Ramos console Big Bird, who is nervous to go to the hospital. Bob and Linda visit Big Bird at the hospital and bring him presents before his procedure. While Big Bird is in surgery, his new friends visit his room, where Bob and Linda teach the children sign language. Later, David and Olivia join Bob and Linda at the hospital. David tells him that ice cream will help his sore throat feel better. Dr. Ramos checks on Big Bird and presents him with a medal for being an excellent patient. Big Bird has a good experience at the hospital and wants to stay longer.
Telly Moves to Sesame Street
Telly Monster is new to Sesame Street! He frantically runs into Mr. Hooper’s store needing to plug in his cord, and then runs right back out of the store. Confused at what just happened and who that was, Mr. Hooper and David follow the cord to Telly, who has moved to Sesame Street. Telly is very focused on his television and does not look away from it. Thinking Telly may be shy, David and Olivia invite him to play baseball. Telly asks what TV channel and they say it is in the park 4 blocks away. Telly wants to join, but realizes he can’t because his cord is too short and only reaches 3 blocks. Later, Olivia discusses the letter “m” with Barkley. She asks Telly to talk about the letter “m”. Still glued to his television, Telly names popular TV shows that start with the letter “m”.
Herry Goes to the Eye Doctor
Herry visits Mr. Hooper’s store for lunch. When he can’t read the chalkboard with the lunch special, Olivia suggests he should get his eyes checked at the eye doctor. Herry is scared to go thinking it will hurt, so Olivia offers to accompany him. At the eye doctor’s office, Olivia and Herry meet Dr. Schrier who asks Herry about his eye issues. Herry has trouble seeing the chart. During the eye exam, Dr. Schrier has Herry look through different lenses and he can see much better! Dr. Schrier writes Herry a prescription for glasses. Herry is relieved that the doctor’s appointment didn’t hurt! Herry visits Mr. Hooper’s store wearing his new glasses and can now clearly read the sign on the wall. Herry wants to become an eye doctor when he gets older and practices on his doll Elizabeth.
A Movie is Being Filmed at Hooper’s Store
Mr. Hooper sees a mysterious man surveying his store inside and out. The man introduces himself as Richard Altman, a movie director, and asks if he can shoot a movie scene at Mr. Hooper’s store! He loves the store just as it is. The director asks Mr. Hooper if he and his friends would like to be extras in the movie! An hour later, the Sesame Street adults are on set at Mr. Hooper’s store! The store is filled with movie equipment like cameras and lights. Oscar is upset when the director does not cast him. Maria is starstruck when the movie’s star, Nick Redfield arrives. After one take of Nick walking through the door, Richard announces, “that’s a wrap” and asks if the film crew can eat lunch at the store. Maria's birthday in Puerto Rico
Maria and Olivia go to Maria’s hometown, Puerto Rico, to celebrate her birthday! Once they head to the airport, Big Bird, Bob, David, Linda, and Susan travel to Puerto Rico to surprise her! Oscar tags along after mishearing “trip” as “trick”. Maria’s family greets Maria and Olivia and overwhelms them with their enthusiasm. Maria wishes everyone from Sesame Street could be there. While out on a walk, she thinks she sees her Sesame Street friends. Oscar meets a Puerto Rican grouch Osvaldo, and they go for a stroll in the morning rain. While setting up for the party, Maria runs inside and tries to call David, but nobody answers. Meanwhile, her friends sneak into the party to surprise her. Maria is very surprised and happy to see her friends! Everyone celebrates with music, cake, and dancing!
Exploring in Puerto Rico
Maria’s mom serves breakfast for Maria’s family and friends and reviews Spanish words for different foods. Bob and Linda ask for directions before heading to the beach. Bob tries to speak in Spanish, but he forgets how to say “beach”. Linda helps him ask the children for directions. While Linda and Bob bike to the “la playa”, they explore local activities! Hoping to fix it in time for Friday’s festival, Luis tinkers with the local water fountain, as Oscar taunts him. Olivia goes to a market and practices her Spanish. Bob sings a song about the heart of town, the plaza. While out on a walk, Big Bird thinks he hears a little bird chirping, but he can’t see it! Maria helps him discover the source of the chirping noise- a frog. Back at the beach, Luis and Susan build a sandcastle with kids.
Oscar and Osvaldo Go Trashing
Oscar and his pal Osvaldo go grouching! They debate who pushes Osvaldo’s cart, but they cooperate and take turns. In a park, Luis and Susan play a game with kids where they act out jobs for others to guess. She learns “bombero” means “fireman”. Oscar wants to learn “no” in Spanish, but gets frustrated when Osvaldo and natives reply “no” when Oscar asks for the translation. Later, he goes to a market and buys ingredients for juice for a Grouch Picnic. Maria and the kids discover Big Bird trying to speak to local birds. Maria teaches a local phrase to say to the birds! Olivia and Maria sing “Wonderful Place to Call Home” together. As the Sesame friends gather, Maria’s aunt asks if they want to stay longer! Big Bird and Luis decide to stay, but Linda, Bob, and Susan go home to Sesame Street.
An Island Picnic in Puerto Rico
The Grouches float on a raft to a private island to escape everyone’s happiness, but everyone else shows up for a picnic! Maria sings about how nice it is to be home as she walks around the island and sees the scenery and her family. Oscar goes fishing and hopes to catch a tire, but he catches a fish and throws it back! Back at the picnic, Maria’s Tio Alberto and his friends play instruments and sing while everyone dances along! Big Bird writes a postcard to Snuffleupagus to tell him all about Puerto Rico, but his handwriting is too big to fit his activities on the postcard! Later, Big Bird borrows a boat and visits Bird Island. He sees herons and a pelican. Even though Big Bird wishes he could fly like the other birds and stay on Bird Island, he returns to stay with Maria and her family.
Festival in Puerto Rico
There is a festival in Puerto Rico! Big Bird wants to help. While Luis wires the speakers, he asks Big Bird to keep people away. He announces for everyone to stay back but draws more of a crowd since he cannot speak Spanish. At the festival, Oscar and Osvaldo investigate what they think is trash. Instead, the craftsman uses old items to become a spinning top! Then, Osvaldo is the barker at a pie throwing booth where Oscar throws pies at the customers! Big Bird tries taking a photo of Maria’s family but gets distracted by a bird. Later, at the festival, Maria and friends see all sorts of artisans making crafts. Everyone dances the night away, even Big Bird. As Maria dances, she feels sad that her trip home is coming to an end. She teaches David the plena dance, and her Sesame friends join.
Home from Puerto Rico
It is time to leave Puerto Rico. Everyone says goodbye to Maria’s family and boards the bus for the airport. As Oscar and Osvaldo part ways, Oscar misses the bus and chases it before Olivia and Luis help him board. On the flight home, Oscar pesters Maria. The group arrives home to freezing Sesame Street! Bob invites everyone to Mr. Hooper’s store for hot chocolate. Gordon visits Big Bird as he counts souvenirs in Spanish. Oscar learns his new Spanish phrases are actually nice and friendly. He tries mailing a snowball to Osvaldo. As Luis explains the snowball will melt into a wet mound before reaching Osvaldo, Oscar gets excited at the messy gift his grouch friend will get! Maria and Luis are welcomed home with too many items to fix in Luis’ store. Big Bird helps them see the bright side!
R2-D2 and C-3PO Visit Sesame Street
Big Bird sees a strange object flying and landing in the backyard! Everyone thinks it is his imagination, until C-3PO and R2-D2 walk by. The droids are here on a secret mission. In the meantime, Maria and Luis help them relax with oil. R2-D2 gives hints about the message. When David and some children figure out his message is for Oscar, they take the droids to see him! R2-D2 delivers Oscar a hologram from Lothar the Grouch saying, “Get lost!” Amazed, Oscar responds, “There is intelligent life in outer space!” Big Bird asks if droids have feelings, and C-3PO explains that he and R2-D2 do have feelings! The droids demonstrate happy, sad, and angry. Big Bird teaches them the game “Blind Man’s Bluff”, but he isn’t very good it. While they say goodbye, David discovers Oscar’s prank for Lothar!
R2-D2 and C-3PO Return to Sesame Street
C-3PO and R2-D2 visit again! Big Bird takes too long greeting them on their bus, that the bus leaves Sesame Street with all three of them still onboard! Bob and a few kids sing the alphabet song when C-3PO and R2-D2 enter and want to join their song. Although R2-D2 cannot sing, he joins in his own way. Linda meets the droids! Big Bird explains her hearing disability so they find a way to communicate. Linda signs to R2-D2, which he understands, and Linda puts her hand on him to feel the vibrations. When R2-D2 falls in love, C-3PO regrets asking to meet the mysterious “her” who happens to be a fire hydrant. Big Bird cheers them up and suggests a walk to the park, but R2-D2 predicts a change in weather and stays behind on Sesame Street. Big Bird and C-3PO return and realize R2-D2 was right!
Big Bird Goes to Camp Echo Rock
Big Bird is getting ready to go to Camp Echo Rock! But before leaving, Big Bird must say goodbye to all of his friends. Upon doing this, he unfortunately realizes that everyone is sad for him to leave, especially Snuffelupagus. To cheer themselves up, Snuffy and Big Bird cry and play one more game together! Afterwards, Big Bird finishes his goodbyes and gets on the bus ready for camp. But as they are about to leave, the bus stops working! Fortunately, Susan is a mechanic that can fix it right up. And while Susan fixes the muffler, Big Bird gets acquainted with Camp Counselor Mickey and fellow Camper Rusty inside the bus. Once fixed, the bus heads straight for Camp Echo Rock! There they are greeted by the captain of fun Aunt May, and she leads the campers into their cabins.
Big Bird's First Day at Camp
It’s Big Bird and Rusty’s first morning at Camp Echo Rock! At first, Big Bird wakes up a little confused not being at Sesame Street, but with the help of Camp Counselor Mickey, he is able to get ready. Everyone also works together to help Rusty get over the morning blues! The day is packed with fun activities like playing baseball, where Big Bird hits his first home run. Big Bird also writes a postcard for Maria, catching her up with what he’s done so far at camp! And after the big first day, the campers eat dinner together. During dinner, Big Bird learns to try new foods like peas and mashed potatoes! Before going to sleep, Big Bird and Rusty both realize that they are very home sick. In order to let their emotions out, they cry together and feel much better!
Big Bird Gets a Postcard from Snuffy
Big Bird’s Cabin gets ready for a Special Inspection! While Big Bird and the rest of the campers clean up and make their beds, Rusty refuses to make his. But with everyone’s help, they’re able to make Rusty’s bed in time to impress Aunt May! Back in Sesame Street, Telly expresses to Oscar that he’s sad for Big Bird being away at camp. Oscar unknowingly though cheers him up by letting him know that Big Bird will be in nature having fun along with a nice Counselor to keep him safe. Big Bird also receives a postcard from Snuffelupagus telling Bird that he almost got seen by his friends at Sesame Street! During Bird’s free time, he walks around the camp site to learn the similarities and differences between camp and home. And finally, Counselor Mickey teaches Big Bird and Rusty how to swim!
Big Bird and the Camp Go for a Hike
Big Bird goes for a hike! Before the hike, Aunt May makes sure the campers have everything they need; like food, water, tents, and knapsacks. They hike on the Arrow Trail, where the campers follow arrows all throughout the woods towards the Echo Rock. Meanwhile in Sesame Street, Luis reads a letter from Big Bird to Telly. In the letter, Big Bird explains the hike he’s off to with his new friend Rusty. This saddens Telly, but Luis brightens him up by telling him that just because Big Bird made a new friend, it doesn’t mean that their friendship ends. After their hike, Mickey and Big Bird sit around a campfire teaching the benefits of the fire; like light, cooking, singing, and warmth. And to end their day, all the campers gather around this campfire to sing the camp’s song, the Echo Rock!
Big Bird's Last Day at Camp Echo Rock
It’s Big Bird’s last day at Camp Echo Rock, and there’s a few more things left to do! Aunt May, Camp Counselor Mickey, and Cabin 10 take a group photo together. And during the camp’s Awards Ceremony, Big Bird wins the Swimming Award, and Rusty wins the Good Sport Award! Before the campers leave, Aunt May makes sure the campers know that she is proud of them; and she says goodbye to everyone with the Echo Rock Handshake. Back at Sesame Street, David comes up with the idea to surprise Big Bird by cleaning up his nest, and making him a Welcome Home sign. But, Snuffelupagus already beat them to it! Upon arriving back to Sesame Street, Big Bird is a little sad having to say goodbye to Rusty and Mickey. And to cheer him up, is everyone along with Snuffelupagus welcoming him home with warm hugs!
Sesame Street Sing-Along
Olivia, Bob, Telly, Big Bird, Herry, and Forgetful Jones set up the arbor for a party and try to plan a group activity. Big Bird suggests reading. Herry suggests lifting weights. Telly worries the party will be sad and not fun. Forgetful Jones has an idea but then forgets it. Bob suggests a sing-along when just as some musicians arrive with their instruments. He and Olivia sing Let’s Sing a Song that Everybody Knows. This turns into a medley of The Bear Went Over the Mountain, The Itsy-Bitsy Spider, The ABC Song, and George Washington Bridge. Big Bird leads in Sing After Me. The Honkers help David with BINGO. Susan leads I Got Me a Rooster. Maria sings Tongue Twister. Finally, David leads The More We Get Together. Everyone on Sesame Street has a great time singing together.
Snuffy's Little Sister, Alice
Snuffleupagus wants to introduce his little sister, Alice, to Big Bird, but he doesn’t know where Big Bird is. Snuffy describes Big Bird so Alice can help find him. They are looking for someone with two legs and feathers and who sings. At first, Alice mistakes David for Big Bird, as he is humming and using a feather duster. While Bob and Luis sing a feather song with the neighborhood children, Alice thinks Bob is Big Bird! Snuffy leaves Alice behind to check Big Bird’s nest and see if his friend is there. Just then, Big Bird walks down the street and sees Alice! From afar, they compare Snuffleupagus’ descriptions of one another. They share a big hug after recognizing one another without Snuffy’s help! Snuffy returns from Big Bird’s nest and sees his best friend and sister have already met.
Rooftop Sing-Along
Biff and Sully are on the roof fixing the television antenna. They are interrupted by the Sesame Street adults wheeling a piano for the rooftop sing-along. After a few songs, Biff gets a picture on the television and sees Grover and Madeline Kahn singing Sing After Me. The TV breaks but the sing-along continues! Sully impresses everyone with his piano playing by accompanying Big Bird for the song Cheer Up. Hoots even breaks out his saxophone for a jazzy rendition of Old MacDonald Had a Farm! Ernie’s bathtub bubbles float up to the roof as he tells his pals he can’t leave his bathtub to sing his song, Rubber Ducky. After the TV is fixed, Biff is able to show Bert in Doing the Pigeon. As they sing their finale, What’s the Name of that Song? with other neighbors, the antenna falls and breaks.
Maria and Luis Get Engaged
Big Bird teaches the birdketeers to say “congratulations” in different languages for when Luis and Maria get married. Luis and Maria invite Big Bird to dinner. When Big Bird asks when they are getting married, they reply they have not decided to get married! Oscar inquires as well since he is looking forward to throwing rice at them. Maria and Luis see Telly looking at his bow ties, trying to choose which one to wear to their wedding. After helping Telly don his bow ties, Maria and Luis tell Telly they have not decided to get married. At dinner, Luis asks if their dinner would be good to have at a wedding. They explain their relationship to Big Bird, who asks many questions. With Big Bird’s help, they decide to get married! Big Bird shares the happy news with everyone on Sesame Street!
Maria and Luis Prepare for Their Wedding
Luis and Maria are preparing for their wedding! They sing a song about renting his tuxedo and making her wedding dress. The Honkers rehearse honking Here Comes the Bride. Big Bird pretends to forget their wedding is tomorrow and gives them a good laugh. Oscar and Grundgetta are also happy because when Luis and Maria are married, they will be too busy to hang around Sesame Street. They assure Oscar and Grundgetta the only change is that they will be even happier. Oscar gives the couple marital advice- get angry with each other. The couple explains they will not always agree but the best part of disagreements is kissing and making up. Oscar is disgusted by their kiss. As the couple is about to kiss again, the Honkers surprise them with a perfect honking performance of Here Comes the Bride.
Maria and Luis Get Married
It is Maria and Luis’ wedding day. Early that morning, Maria tells Linda she is so excited she could not sleep, while Luis was still sleeping. The cast sings as they prepare for the day! Elmo, Herry, and Telly debate which of them is the most important one at the wedding, when Luis helps them realize it is the bride. Gina shows Big Bird the place cards and sings a song about being near him. Snuffy thinks he will sit alone but Gina arranges the place cards to show Big Bird sitting in between them. Using magic, Mumford helps Big Bird find his necktie after two failed attempts. Luis and Maria sing about their love for one another. Big Bird cheers when his friends are pronounced husband and wife. Luis and Maria’s wedding party has lots of joy, music, dancing, wedding cake, and a bouquet toss!
Around the Corner
The new playground is expected to open today! The Sesame Street children and muppets excitedly walk there. When they arrive, they see a wooden barrier saying “Danger.” Biff says the playground is not finished yet. While waiting, they pass the time by joining The Count as he counts how many times the ballerinas jump in their class. Then, Big Bird visits Ruthie at Finders Keepers who introduces Big Bird to Little Green Riding Hood. She is very upset by her sister Little Red’s fame. Although it will not give make her more famous, Little Green gives a basket of goodies to the eager kids waiting to go to the playground! Once it is finished, everyone rushes to play. The Commissioner of Fun and Games officially opens the playground. Everyone is happy about the new playground, including Oscar.
Susan and Gordon Stay at the Furry Arms
Susan and Gordon’s apartment is getting painted, and they need a place to spend the night. Big Bird overhears his friends’ dilemma and offers to help. He suggests different places they could stay such as Hawaii, his nest, or the park! After realizing none of those options would work, Susan and Gordon reluctantly decide to try the Furry Arms Hotel. It’s very tiny inside and the last few rooms are taken by a group of chickens! Gordon decides to ask more of their friends if they can stay with them, but nobody can accommodate them. Meanwhile, Susan gets tricked into working the front desk! When Gordon returns, an unhappy pig checks out of the hotel, which means Gordon and Susan might have a room to stay. Until then, they sleep on the floor in the noisy hotel lobby which is technically a room.
Oscar and the Theme Song
Grundgetta, Oscar, and the Grouchketeers do not like the Sunny Days song. It makes them happy. Yuck! Oscar was too late putting his earmuffs on, so he was exposed to the song. Now, he cannot get Sunny Days out of his head! Oscar and Grundgetta try singing a grouchy rendition of My Favorite Things, but then Bob passes them singing the theme song. Oscar is so desperate to get the song out of his head that he asks Fluffy the Elephant to make noise to distract him. That seems to work at first, but then his animals start singing Sunny Days, too! Elmo passes by with his homemade STOP sign which provides some temporary relief. In his last attempt, Oscar puts on earmuffs and a football helmet! Oscar finally gets Sunny Days out of his head just in time for the end of the show and the closing song.
The Martians Visit Sesame Street
The Martians land in Mr. Hooper’s store! Gina tries to communicate with them and realizes they are hungry. Since they are unable to verbalize what they would like to eat, Gina hands them a menu. The Martians devour the menu itself! The Martians are satisfied and quickly disappear. Angela sings with children at her home day care. The Martians later appear at Angela and Jamal’s home while they care for and play with Baby Kayla. The Martians observe their interactions and learn that is love. At the end of the day on Sesame Street, Telly stops by Mr. Hooper’s store. Mr. Hanford tells him the store is closed and asks what Telly wanted. Telly did not want food, a toy, or a magazine. He wanted to look at the letters in the “Closed” sign. Mr. Hanford walks Telly home.

Preparing for a Hurricane on Sesame Street
On the television in Hooper’s store, Kermit the Frog announces that a hurricane is headed towards Sesame Street. Elmo is worried as he learns about what a hurricane is, but feels better once he knows how everyone will prepare for the storm. Big Bird’s friends help him move his things indoors, since he cannot stay in his nest during the storm. Oscar is excited about the bad weather, but Gordon and Bob insist that Oscar and his trash move inside to be safe. Although the lights go out, Gordon, Susan, Miles, and Big Bird have fun playing games and telling stories with flashlights. Big Bird is worried about his nest, but Gordon and Susan make him feel better. Everyone listens to the wind and watches the rain from inside.
Cleaning Up Sesame Street After the Hurricane
The hurricane has caused a huge mess on Sesame Street. Branches, leaves and debris are all over the neighborhood, but everyone is lending a hand and helping to clean up. Big Bird mourns the loss of his nest and cries, but Gordon comforts him. Snuffy helps Big Bird clean up the mess around his nest. Snuffy and Big Bird talk about how they are sad about the damage the hurricane the storm has done, but they are happy the storm couldn’t blow away friends. Everybody offers Big Bird a place to stay until his home is repaired. Big Bird drinks a birdseed milkshake and draws a picture to feel better about his nest.
Big Bird Sleeps Over at Gabi's After the Hurricane
Everyone is busy helping to fix up Big Bird’s new home. As they clean up, Big Bird remembers the day the hurricane came to Sesame Street and is angry and sad. Telly is worried - whenever he feels wind, he thinks another hurricane is coming. But Gina assures him that this does not mean there will be another storm. Big Bird stays at Luis and Maria’s apartment for the night. They have dinner together, and afterwards, as Big Bird gets ready for bed, he remembers stories about his nest and shares happy memories. Big Bird sings “That Good Old Nest of Mine.” Even though Big Bird is still sad, he is excited to make new memories with his new nest.
Building a New Nest for Big Bird
Sesame Street has been cleaned up from the hurricane’s damage, and Big Bird’s nest area now has strong, new doors and a mailbox. It is time for Big Bird to build his nest, but he doesn’t know how to begin. At first, Big Bird consults the three pig architects, and they suggest various ideas for how he can build his nest. Then Big Bird decides to call his Granny. Granny Bird offers to fly over and help, but it will take three weeks to get there. Granny Bird tells Big Bird to start rebuilding his nest by first collecting twigs. Everyone helps Big Bird and brings him sticks and twigs. Oscar even donates mud. But Big Bird still doesn’t know how to build the nest. Alan suggests that they take things slowly, one twig at a time. Soon enough, Big Bird’s new nest is almost complete!
Welcome Home Big Bird
Big Bird’s nest-building continues, as friends help with gathering sticks and mud. Telly and Elmo talk about the week they have had and remember the day the hurricane came to Sesame Street. Everyone wonders how they will know once the nest is finished. Big Bird calls Granny Bird. Granny tells Big Bird he will know his nest is complete with “the final twig”. Big Bird finds the final twig and adds it to his nest. The Big Bad Wolf, the City Nest Inspector, decides Big Bird’s nest is not ready yet, because the mud is still wet. Elmo suggests that Snuffy can help. Snuffy takes a deep breath and dries Big Bird’s nest with his snuffle. The wolf declares the nest is dry, safe, and fit to sit in. Everyone cheers and celebrates! Big Bird reads a bedtime story and falls asleep in his new nest.

Baby Bear's First Day of School
It’s Baby Bear’s first day of school and he’s very excited! Papa Bear drops Baby Bear off at the school and tells him that he loves him and will be back after school. At school, Baby Bear becomes friends with Hansel and Gretel, Jack and Jill, Little Red Riding Hood, and other storybook characters. Even though Baby Bear is having fun making friends and learning new things, he also misses his family. Baby Bear wonders what they are doing and wishes that they could be with him in school. When Papa Bear picks Baby Bear up, Baby Bear tells him that he had a great time at school, but also missed his family. Papa Bear tells Baby Bear that it’s okay to miss family and when he does, he can think about seeing each other again at the end of the day talking about all the great things he did in school.
Telly Learns the Grouchketeer Cheer
Telly Monster is going to Oscar’s Annual Grouch Picnic and Field Day! Telly has to learn the Official Grouch Cheer but he’s the only one who can’t do it right. Telly tells Gordon how miserable he feels not being able to do the cheer. Gordon talks to Oscar and convinces him to let Telly try learning to do the cheer right while Telly keeps saying how he can’t do it and continues to be discouraged. Gordon motivates Telly by practicing the cheer with him and encouraging him by saying he can do it! Through Gordon’s encouragements, constant practice, and believing in himself, Telly finally learns to do the cheer right. Telly shows Oscar how he can do the cheer beautifully and boards the bus to go on the field trip with all the other Grouchketeers!
Who'll Replace the Big, Bad Wolf
The Big Bad Wolf is taking a vacation. He feels so exhausted from chasing pigs and dressing up like a grandma all the time. In the meantime, Zoe, Elmo, and Telly audition to be the wolf while the Big Bad Wolf is on vacation. For the audition, the three have to first, blow down a straw house, then, chase pigs, and lastly, pretend to be a grandma. All three of them creatively think of different ways to pass the test. However, they start to argue over who could best play the role of the Big Bad Wolf. Gordon talks to them and helps them to realize that it’s more important to stay friends than to be the wolf. When it’s time for the Big Bad Wolf to decide, he gives the role to Gordon since he did such a great job showing Telly, Zoe, and Elmo how to do everything that a Big Bad Wolf should do!
Mexico on Sesame Street
Rosita is feeling homesick because she misses her abuela and Mexico. Big Bird and friends see how much Rosita misses Mexico and decide to bring Mexico to her by decorating Sesame Street to look like Mexico. They also bring Mexican food and Luis sings a traditional Mexican song. Rosita is truly surprised and grateful when she sees what everyone has done for her. To everyone’s surprise, Rosita’s abuela shows up as well. Rosita’s abuela missed Rosita so much she had to fly in to see her and Rosita couldn’t be happier.
Gina's Vet Assistant
Gina is so busy and is in desperate need of an assistant. Her Furry Godmother appears and grants her a veterinarian’s assistant who happens to be Grover! Unfortunately, Gina is having a difficult time helping the hiccupping duck in her examining room because Grover keeps screaming, “Emergency!” Gina also finds it difficult to help the other animals because Grover is mistaking a camel for a horse, a lamp for a living thing, and a cat for a tiger. Gina decides to teach Grover about all the different animals and about living things so that he can better understand what a real veterinary assistant would do. In the end, Grover doesn’t think he can be Gina’s assistant, but finds a new way to cure the hiccupping ducks by surprising them!
Healthy Food Game Show
It’s time to play “The Healthy Foods Name Game” with Mr. Healthy Food. Elmo and his friends have to find four healthy foods of various colors before the mouse climbs to the top of the refrigerator. First, Elmo sets off to find a red healthy food and sees Luis cooking fajitas with red peppers. After, Zoe and Elmo find a white healthy food when Old MacDonald and Gladys the Cow give them a glass of milk filled with Vitamin D! Then, they head over to the vegetable garden to find lettuce, a green healthy food which is a healthy and crunchy part of any meal! Finally, as they look for a purple food to win the game, they see Snuffy pushing a purple eggplant home. Now that Elmo and his friends have found all four healthy foods, they get to eat the delicious and colorful foods that they’ve found!
Rock Sitter for Rocco
Zoe has to attend her swimming class but needs to find a rock sitter to read, sing, and play with Rocco. Telly offers to take care of Rocco while Zoe is away. Rocco likes rock stories and rock music. First, with Elmo’s help, Telly tells Rocco the story of “Goldirock and the Three Bears.” Then, Telly, Alan, and Bob sing, “Rock Around the Rock.” When Zoe returns from her swimming class, Telly tells her all the fun they had together while she was away. Telly offers to help Zoe take care of Rocco anytime!
How Many Balloons to Raise Snuffy?
Snuffy wants to be a cloud in the sky. He wonders how he can get up to the sky and realizes that he could use a balloon to lift him up. Snuffy wishes for a balloon and the Fairy Balloon Person (Richard Kind) comes to grant his wish. When they realize, one balloon is not enough to take Snuffy up to the sky, the Fairy Balloon Person continues to add five balloons each time. By the time they reach forty balloons, Snuffy starts going up to the sky flying higher and higher. Snuffy is happy to see the birds and the clouds but begins to get cold and lonely being all by himself. He wishes to go back down, and his wish is granted. Snuffy realizes that everyone he loves is down on Sesame Street and he would rather be a Snuffleupagus than a cloud.
Goldilocks Takes Over Two Nursery Rhymes
Goldilocks takes Little Miss Muffet’s curds and whey and then sticks her finger into Little Jack Horner’s pie. She takes both of their nursey rhymes and makes them into her own! Little Miss Muffet and Little Jack Horner are so upset they start crying. Baby Bear and Big Bird offer to help by encouraging them to be assertive and stand up for themselves. Little Miss Muffet and Little Jack Horner gain the confidence to approach Goldilocks who is at Hooper’s Store with Alan. Alan notice that the two are upset and encourages them to share their feelings with Goldilocks. After they express their feelings, Goldilocks didn’t know how she made them feel and apologizes she didn’t mean to make them feel sad. She learns that she wouldn’t like it if they did the same thing to her.
Telly's and Baby Bear's Story
Baby Bear and Telly decide to use their imaginations to write a story together. They have a hard time deciding on whether their story should be about a magic bowl of porridge or a magic triangle. With Maria’s help, they learn that best friends should be able to work together and decide to write a story about both! Baby Bear and Telly’s story takes place in the Kingdom of Dum Diddley Dum Diddley Do. In this Kingdom, there is a magical triangular bowl of porridge. The bowl has three sides and three angles and is filled with an unlimited amount of delicious porridge that King Baby Bear absolutely loves. Baby Bear and Telly realize that they make a great team and decide to write another story together!
Bob's Niece, Samara
Rosita and Telly want to play a game of tag but they can’t find anyone to play with them. They meet Bob’s niece, Samara, and wonder if she would like to play. Samara can’t hear them because she is deaf. Rosita and Telly are concerned because they don’t know how they will be able to all speak and play together. Samara explains that even though she can’t hear them, she can talk to them by using sign language. They have a lot of fun learning, playing, and also signing and saying the alphabet together. Everyone on Sesame Street gets so excited about sign language that they all can’t wait to learn more.
Birdseed Cookies
Big Bird’s granny is coming to Sesame Street. With Alan’s help, Big Bird decides to bake “The World’s Greatest Birdseed Cookies” for her. Big Bird and Alan gathered all the ingredients they need- birdseed, applesauce, bananas, porridge, and cinnamon. Baby Bear comes into Hooper’s wanting his porridge but eats a healthy fruit salad instead since Big Bear and Alan need the porridge for the cookies. As Alan and Big Bird continue to mix the ingredients, The Count comes in to help them count. He helps them figure out how many cookies they will be able to make with the dough. Granny Bird arrives just as the cookies finish baking. She is so grateful for the cookies that Alan and Big Bird had baked for her! They all enjoy eating the cookies together, except Alan who is on a birdseed-free diet.
American Fruit Stand
Alan is receiving a big delivery at Hooper’s Store, so Miles helps him out by watching the fruit stand. As Elmo and Zoe walk by talking about cookies and ice cream, Sesame Street is transformed into a 50’s musical show “American Fruit Stand.” Miles sings “I Love Fruit,” a song about how good fruit tastes and how good it is for the body. Elmo and Zoe get so excited about fruit that they now want an apple and an orange instead! Gina comes to the fruit stand and asks Miles for some peaches and pears. Sesame Street is transformed once again, and Miles sings “Peaches and Pears.” Maria needs some broccoli and it happens that the broccoli is a special guest star on “American Fruit Stand.” Miles sings “Broccoli is Good.” Everyone on Sesame Street is so excited about fruits and vegetables!
Elmo & Zoe's Scientific Exploration
Elmo watches a leaf floating in a bucket of water. This observation makes Elmo think about other scientific questions. Elmo, Zoe, and Telly become curious about whether or not objects such as a leaf, an apple, a rock (Rocco), and a triangle either float or sink in water. They first make a hypothesis about what might happen to each of the objects. Then they test their hypothesis with an experiment. In the meantime, Gordon is there to ask Elmo, Zoe, and Telly about what is happening and what might happen next. They all have a wonderful time exploring together and learning about experiments and hypotheses.
Adventures of Little Big Bird, Part 1
Mumford is doing his new big/little trick for everyone. While he meant to turn a big letter “M” into a little letter “m,” he accidentally turns Big Bird into little Big Bird! Big Bird feels like he is in a brand new world because of his small size. Everything is so big and he meets small creatures he would have never been able to meet before. All of a sudden, he hears Snuffy calling him for their playdate. Big Bird tries to call him back, but Snuffy can’t hear him because he is too small. Big Bird becomes frustrated and wants to be big again. He figures out a plan and embarks on his trip to Alan and Gordon, who can help him find Mumford.
Cookie Monster Thinks the Moon is a Cookie
Cookie Monster thinks the moon is a giant cookie and sets off on a mission to figure out how to get to the moon. Since Slimey has been to the moon and Gabi is saying a nursey rhyme about the cow who jumped over the moon, Cookie Monster asks them if the moon is a cookie. However, they don’t know since they’ve never tasted the moon before. While Cookie Monster is wondering how to get to the moon, Gordon enters with former astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, who explains that the moon is made out of rocks. Although it’s not a cookie, the moon is a beautiful and exciting place to look up at from Earth. Cookie Monster realizes that the moon is not a cookie and that he wouldn’t even want to eat it so the moon can continue to shine down on Earth.
What Happens Next Show
Oscar is a host for a messy scientific game show called, “What Happens Next?” and Elmo is so excited to play! With the help of his friends on Sesame Street, Elmo learns lots of new things about what would happen next when Slimey jumps into a little mud pool from a low diving board, and then from a high board. Would there be a little splash or a big splash? Elmo uses hypotheses when making guesses about what would happen next. Elmo has a great time learning to observe, making guesses, and checking to see if his hypothesis is correct!
Grouch Apprentice
The grouch with the most trash in the world, is looking for a new apprentice. Oscar, Grundgetta, and the other grouches can’t wait to meet him because if they get chosen, they will get to keep some of his trash. Elmo decides that he wants to be a helper too, because he likes to help others. The grouch with the most trash in the world puts them through counting and sorting tasks that Elmo does great at. Grump decides that even though Elmo succeeded at all the tasks, he is too good at being a helper to help a grouch. Grundgetta and Oscar are both hired, but they no longer want to be apprentices because they don’t want to help Grump get his trash. He leaves Oscar and Grundgetta no choice but to tell him, “You’re fired!”.
Adventures of Little Big Bird, Part 2
Previously, Big Bird was accidentally changed into little Big Bird when Mumford tried to do a magic trick. While it was fun being little, little Big Bird now wants to be big again so that he can play with his friend Snuffy. He decides that he has to make his way to Alan and Gordon, who can help him find Mumford to change him back. On his very long and slow trip, a ladybug named Mike crash lands right into him. He teaches little Big Bird that he has to keep trying no matter what obstacles he faces and what size he is. Little Big Bird remembers to believe in himself and with a little persistence, he finally makes it! Once he is finally noticed, Mumford is able to turn little Big Bird back into big Big Bird.
Telly Learns to Catch a Ball
While everybody’s playing catch on Sesame Street, Telly sadly admits to Baby Bear that he doesn’t know how to catch a ball. Baby Bear assures Telly not to worry and tries to teach him how to catch. Telly holds out his hands and keeps his eyes on the ball but keeps missing. Even with the help of his other friends, Baby Bear, Rosita and Maria, Telly keeps missing the ball. As Telly is about to give up, Baby Bear comes back with the Manager of the New York Yankees, Joe Torre. Torre encourages Telly by telling him that he is doing everything right but since catching can be a hard thing to learn, he just needs to keep practicing. As Torre leaves, he throws Telly a beach ball and Telly catches it! Telly is thrilled that he caught the ball and continues to practice with Baby Bear.
As The Porridge Cooled
Telly is doing a “Monster on the Spot” report about Baby Bear who tells the story of what really happened to the three bears. Instead of going for a walk while their porridge was cooling, they were running and jumping through the woods. They get lost in the magic garden and a wizard puts a spell on them, turning them into ducks! Baby Bear tests his hypothesis that they can turn into a different animal depending on the animal sound they make. Through his experiment, he finds out that his guess is correct! They all make bear sounds and transform into bears again but now the wizard wouldn’t let them out until they name three things about vegetables. With the help of the Singing Vegetables, the three bears learn that vegetables are delicious, are good for you... and are musical!
Snuffy Feels He's Too Big
Snuffy sees Elmo, Zoe, and Carina the Ballerina, ballet dancing and wants to join in on the fun. He tries to follow along with them as they leap and twirl around but ends up falling down. Snuffy becomes sad and insecure about his size when his friends tell him that maybe he’s too big to dance ballet. Snuffy tries to figure out ways to make himself smaller by imagining himself as a mouse and doing scrunching down exercises. While Snuffy becomes discouraged that he can’t seem to change his size, Big Bird, Luis, Maria, and Gabi tell Snuffy that he is perfect just the way he is. Zoe, Elmo, and Carina apologize to Snuffy for hurting his feelings. They learn that anyone can dance, and that dancing should be about having fun with all your friends, no matter what size they are.
Big Bird, Snuffy & Friends Hike
Maria, Luis, Big Bird, and Snuffy are planning for a hike. They pack their backpacks, water, and trail mix. Big Bird and Snuffy are especially excited since they have never been on a hike before! Maria explains how hiking can be a great exercise and how you can find many interesting things throughout the hike. During their hike, they stop to observe things around them they have never noticed before. Such as the bark and leaves of a tree, the colors of a pebble on the ground, and even a tap dancing spider! Although Maria, Luis, Big Bird, and Snuffy don’t get very far on the hiking because of all the wonderful things they find, Big Bird and Snuffy have a great time on their very first hike.
Elmo and Zoe Claim a Ball
Zoe and Elmo find a ball on Sesame Street and start to argue over whose ball it is. They both keep saying, “It’s mine!” Luis enters and explains that instead of arguing over whose ball it is, they could have fun with it by sharing, taking turns, and playing together. While Zoe and Elmo are learning to share and take turns, Baby Bear comes in and is so relieved to see his ball! They all begin to argue over whose ball it is again until Baby Bear shows Zoe and Elmo the letter “B” he had marked on the ball for “Baby Bear.” When Baby Bear sees that Zoe and Elmo are sad to see the ball go, he decides to share the ball with them. They all learn that taking turns and playing together is even more fun than having the ball to yourself.
Super Chicken on Sesame Street
Super Chicken is coming to the rescue and solving everyone’s problems. Super Chicken helps Luis and Maria replenish their supply of packing tape, helps Miles untie shoelaces, and fixes Gabi’s broken popcorn machine. Super Grover begins to feel sad and useless as a superhero, once he sees everything Super Chicken is doing. He thinks that perhaps his friends on Sesame Street don’t need him anymore. However, Luis, Maria, Gabi, Miles, and Big Bird all tell Super Grover that the only real superhero for Sesame Street is him, especially since there’s no other superhero in the world who can give a super hug like he does!
Banana in the Stone
Telly and Baby Bear are taking care of Curly for the day. Hooper’s Store ran out of apples, Curly’s favorite snack, so Telly and Baby Bear encourage her to try another healthy snack - a banana! Unfortunately, Curly keeps pushing the banana away, so they tell her the story of “The Banana in the Stone,” hoping to inspire her to try the banana. In the story, whoever pulls the banana out of the stone becomes the king or queen of the medieval land. At the end, the young bear (Baby Bear) pulls the banana out of the stone in order to give it to his hungry little sister. By the time the story is over, Curly Bear, being so drawn to bananas through the story, has already eaten half the banana!
Abby Cadabby Comes to Sesame Street
Abby moves to Sesame Street and is looking for someone to play with. She meets Snuffy and Big Bird, who invite her to play hide-and-seek. Abby is a little worried meeting everyone all at once, but Big Bird and Snuffy encourage her to not be shy or afraid. She takes Big Bird’s hand and says she wants to learn everything. Throughout her day on Sesame Street, Abby learns how to play hide-and-seek, count to ten, and turn a pumpkin into a toaster. She meets many new friends who are all excited to meet her too, as they have never met a fairy before. Elmo and Zoe ask Abby is she would be their friend and come back to play. This makes Abby so happy it makes her float in the air!
Abby's First Day of School
It’s Abby’s first day at school and she is so excited to learn. Mrs. Goose introduces Abby to the class, and they sing her the “Welcome Song,” making her feel at home. Next it’s time for Show and Tell, but Abby didn’t know she was supposed to bring something to share. Abby decides to use her magic wand to leave school and ask Elmo for help. As Elmo tells Abby that the class would love to see her wand, he accidentally taps his head with the wand and appears at Abby’s school. Abby thinks it would be more fun to introduce Elmo to the class for Show and Tell and share about what a good friend he is. Mrs. Goose allows Elmo to be the class guest for the day and they sing him the “Welcome Song.” Abby is having a great first day of school and is so happy to be learning so many new things.
Cookie World
La la la la, Cookie’s World. That’s right! Today, Cookie Monster wants to learn more about cookies! He starts by asking Bob how to eat a cookie, but instead he shows Cookie how to eat an apple, a healthy and crispy snack. Cookie Monster counts how many cookies are on his plate and does subtraction by eating them. He also wants to learn who eats cookies and who doesn’t. He asks if basketballs and toasters eat cookies and learns that they don’t! When Cookie Monster introduces Zoe, his dancing friend, she does an amazing cookie dance by jumping and twirling like a chocolate chip. Cookie Monster still wants to know more about cookies. He decides to talk to a cookie and learns that cookies are crunchy and delicious!
Miles and Gabi Graduate High School
Gabi and Miles are graduating from high school. Elmo can’t believe that they are finished with school when he hasn’t even started. Gabi and Miles remember their very first day of school and tell Elmo all about it. They were so excited to learn new things and have fun. Their classroom was an amazing place filled with books, toys, and blocks. There was also a cupboard full of art supplies. In class, they sang the alphabet song and drew pictures of the things they loved. One time, Gabi and Miles both wanted to play with a fire truck. They learned how to share and how it is an important part of being in school. Elmo can’t wait to start school!
Dinosaur on Sesame Street
Herb, short for Herbivore, is a plant eating dinosaur who has come to Sesame Street! He and his cousin, Shirley, are the only dinosaurs left, as dinosaurs have gone extinct. Herb meets many new friends on Sesame Street and learns something new from each and every one of them. He learns that salads aren’t trees but a healthy food with lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes from Alan. He also learns about taking turns and sharing a toy from Zoe and Rosita, and the letters of the alphabet from Big Bird, Elmo, and the Birdketeers. Herb even gets to try something he has never done before - play with a worm! Herb takes Slimey for a ride all around Sesame Street. Herb’s day at Sesame Street teaches him that you’re never too old to learn.
Snow White's Meltdown
Snow White and the 7 dwarves are on Sesame Street! No matter how you count Snow White’s dwarves, there are always 7 and there’s even a song to prove it. When one of the dwarves has to leave, there are no longer 7 dwarves. Snow White is upset and doesn’t know what to do because it’s supposed to be Snow White and the 7 dwarves, not the 6 dwarves. Elmo encourages Snow White to not give up and suggests subtracting a number from the song each time a dwarf leaves. She continues to sing until she is left without any dwarves. Snow White wants to give up, but Elmo has a great idea! Alan and 6 kids are going to add themselves together to become Snow White’s 7 dwarves. Snow White loves this idea, and everyone sings happily ever after!
Maria and Luis' Wedding Anniversary
Today is Luis and Maria’s wedding anniversary and they decide to celebrate by having a picnic together. Little do they know, it is also “H” day on Sesame Street. Elmo, Zoe, and Big Bird come by singing about the letter “H,” but Luis and Maria sneak off to find another spot for their picnic. The H-Man comes too and wants everyone to play “The Sound of H.” Luis and Maria join in at first but sneak away again while others are hopping along. As they’re about to enjoy their picnic, it’s time for the letter “H” dance. Luis and Maria decide to dance “The Hula” with everyone as it was their favorite dance, which they did on their honeymoon. Luis and Maria have a happy anniversary after all.
Elmo and Alan Play School
Elmo wants to play school, but who can be his teacher? Alan agrees to be Elmo’s pretend teacher for the day while he’s working at Hooper’s Store. Mr. Alan greets the class and takes attendance, since this is what Elmo says happens in real school. During Elmo’s day at school, he draws a picture, listens to Mr. Alan reading a book, and sings the alphabet song. Mr. Alan’s school gets very popular as Old McDonald’s goat, an elephant, and other students join his class. When the elephant wants to learn how to rhyme, Mr. Alan explains that a rhyme is when two words sound the same. Elmo thanks his favorite teacher, Mr. Alan, for the best day of pretend school ever!
Jelmo
Elmo is celebrating the letter “J!” He changes his name to Jelmo and starts jumping around. He’s going to celebrate by doing things that start with the letter “J.” He jumps over to the Fix-It-Shop to see if Maria is fixing anything that begins with the letter “J.” Someone comes in to get his juicer fixed for the Juice Lovers Club. After seeing that the juicer only plays the Jitterbug song instead of making juice, Jelmo suggests changing his club to a Jitterbug club. Jelmo jumps over to Big Bird who is telling the nursery rhyme of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” With the help of Mary, a jar of jam, and the Birdketeers, they change the nursery rhyme to “Jenny Had a Little Jam.” After a long day of jumping, Jelmo decides to “just rest” because sometimes the letter of the day can be exhausting.
Ask Oscar Show
It’s time for “Ask Oscar” with Telly as the host of the show. He reads a letter from a boy who can’t remember the name of the little round things that hold his jacket together. Telly is ready to get the answer from Oscar, but he won’t tell! Telly decides to get some help from his friends on Sesame Street. Maria tries to get Oscar to name things that start with the letter “B” and Alan plays “One of These Things is Not Like the Other” with Oscar. Baby Bear pretends that Telly, who is dressed up like a button, can’t remember who he is. Oscar finally whispers the answer and Telly hears him say “Buttons!” Telly couldn’t be happier that someone asked, and Oscar finally answered.
Big Bird Wishes the Adults were Kids
Big Bird is looking for someone to play with, but the adults are busy working. He thinks that adults aren’t fun and wishes for them to become kids. To Big Bird’s surprise, his Fairy Godperson appears and grants him his wish and Alan, Maria, and Gordon get transformed into kids. The three of them are having a great time playing, while everyone else on Sesame Street is wondering where they could be. Luis needs Maria’s help at the Fix-It-Shop, Baby Bear needs a bowl of porridge from Hooper’s, and Miles is looking for Gordon. Big Bird learns how important the adults are and how much people count on them. He wishes for Alan, Maria, and Gordon to become adults again. Alan, Maria, and Gordon had so much fun that they also learn it’s important to make time to play with the kids in their lives.
Baby Bear Writes a Story
Baby Bear is writing an exciting story about the Three Bears. With the help of Elmo, he decides the story is going to be The Three Bears in Outer Space. In the beginning of the story, the three Astro Bears are trying to figure out how porridge tastes in space. Zoe suggests including a cowgirl in the middle of the story and Big Bird thinks a tap-dancing chicken can start shaking the spaceship. For the end of the story, Baby Astro Bear politely asks the chicken to stop tap-dancing and the three Astro Bears find out that porridge in space tastes just right and they live happily ever after. Baby Bear and his friends think this is the greatest story ever and they all helped to write it together!
Telly's Doll Freddy Play with Rocco
Zoe is pretending to be a teacher and is getting Rocco and all of her dolls ready for a field trip. Telly wants his doll, Freddy, to go on the trip but Zoe says the bus is full. With Freddy being left behind, Telly, Baby Bear, and Freddy decide to play a new game where Freddy is a superhero, saving the world from the dastardly dinosaur. When Zoe returns from the field trip, she asks if Rocco can play with them. Telly is surprised Rocco wants to play with Freddy now when he didn’t before. Zoe apologizes for hurting Freddy’s feelings but Telly isn’t sure if he’s ready to accept the apology. Baby Bear explains that we all make mistakes sometimes and suggests it would be fun to have Rocco play with them. Telly and Freddy agree, and they all have a great time pretending to save the world.
Healthy Food Pageant
Prairie Dawn and her Sesame friends are putting on a “Healthy Food Pageant.” Prairie plays the piano while everyone else dresses up as different foods, singing about how they are good for you. Zoe sings about potatoes and Rosita sings about tortillas. It’s Telly’s turn to sing about asparagus, but there’s a problem. He can’t sing because he has never tested an asparagus before. When he tries one, he loves it and goes on stage to tell everyone about it. After Telly, it’s Elmo’s turn to sing about broccoli but he can’t find his costume! Gabi helps Elmo remember all the places he might have left it and Elmo remembers and makes it on stage. Everyone performs a wonderful pageant and learns how to stay healthy and strong every day.
Baby Bear Builds a Lemonade Pouring Machine
Miles is having a busy day at Hooper’s store as everyone seems to want lemonade. Baby Bear has a brilliant idea to help Miles - an Automatic Lemonade Pouring Machine. He draws his invention and plans to build it with Telly and Elmo’s help. They all cooperate together by gathering parts and following the plan to build the machine. When it’s time to test out the machine, everything runs smoothly until the very end when the lemonade doesn’t end up pouring. Baby Bear, Telly, and Elmo are frustrated and upset but Squeaky the Mouse encourages them to not give up and figure out what went wrong. Miles comes over and is very thankful that they built this machine for him. They all work together once again and finally get it to work!
Slimey Wants to be a Super Hero
Slimey wants to be a hero just like Trash Gordon. Rosita and Elmo are surprised because heroes are supposed to be big and strong. Oscar explains that Slimey is strong and just the right size. Slimey is unsure if he can do it, but Oscar reassures him that he can do everything that any other hero can do. Slimey’s first mission is to save the letter of the day. He uses his body to finish the rest of the letter “N.” He also helps Miles and Gabi who are missing a checker piece by curling into a circle and “becoming” the missing piece. Elmo forgets his bowl of ice cream inside Hooper’s Store and Miles can’t unlock the door because he dropped the key inside. Slimey crawls through the small keyhole, gets the key, and saves the day once again. Everyone is so thankful. Three cheers for Slimey!
Alphabet Road Show
The Alphabet Road Show is coming to Sesame Street! This show takes you on the road in search of people saying the alphabet in different, special ways. David Letterguy, the host of the show, is ready to start the show. First is Baby Bear who says the alphabet while he’s waiting for his porridge to cool. Next, Telly says the alphabet while bouncing on his pogo stick and wearing a triangle hat. Finally, Elmo is next, but he can’t think of a different way to say the alphabet. He decides to go for a bike ride to help him think. When David Letterguy is about to leave, he hears Elmo saying the alphabet while riding his tricycle. What a special way to say the alphabet! Elmo makes it on the show as well.
Zoe has a Birthday Party for Rocco
Zoe is having a birthday party for her pet rock, Rocco. She makes her very own invitation for the party, and everyone is invited! Elmo runs into a problem. What do you get a rock for his birthday? With the help of Super Grover and Miles, Elmo decides to draw a picture of Rocco on a pony as a present. The Street is decorated and all of Rocco’s family and friends are there to celebrate. They have a clown, a birthday cake, and presents! Everyone gives Rocco such thoughtful gifts. Zoe says that Rocco is very thankful and that he is very happy.
Oscar Gets a Rattendoodle
Oscar gets a new dog named Cranky. Cranky is a Rottendoodle, a grouch dog that never helps, kisses, or does what you tell it to do. However, when Oscar tells Cranky to sit, she listens and sits. He plays fetch with her and she catches the ball too. When Cranky sees Bob, she gives him a big kiss. Oscar loves his dog but is convinced that something is strange when Cranky begins to help everyone on Sesame Street. She’s loving, clean and helpful when she’s supposed to be grouchy. Oscar learns that sometimes dogs are different from the way you expect them to be. He begins to wonder about giving her away, but he is secretly starting to like her. Oscar decides to keep Cranky, who is nice and annoying - a grouch’s dream come true.
Zoe Wants Long Hair Like Rapunzel
When Zoe wishes to have long hair just like Rapunzel, Zoe’s Hairy Godperson appears and grants her wish. Elmo compares a picture of Rapunzel with Zoe, and sees that Zoe’s hair is long but not as long as Rapunzel’s hair. Zoe makes another wish for her hair to become longer than it was, but Rapunzel’s hair is still longer. When she grants a third wish to have longer hair than Rapunzel’s hair, her wish is granted, and now she has the longest hair. However, Zoe can’t move and play anymore because her hair is everywhere. Zoe’s hair starts causing trouble when it blocks traffic and the Prince gets tangled up in her hair. Zoe wishes for her old hair back and her wish is granted. Elmo tells Zoe he likes her hair just the way it is, and Zoe agrees!
What Comes Next Game Show
It’s time to play the “What Comes Next Game” where you have to guess what comes next in a pattern before the mouse rings the bell. Elmo is first given the pattern of an apple, banana, apple, banana, apple. He talks about the pattern and figures out that the next fruit should be a banana. Next, Big Bird and Elmo are going to play the game and the pattern is all four seasons. Big Bird and Elmo describe what happens in each season to help them figure it out. Now it’s on to the next pattern and this time Elmo is the announcer, Telly is the bell and the viewers get to figure out the pattern. Elmo has some kids stand in a line as one twists, one hops, one twists, and one hops. The next action in the pattern is...twisting! Elmo thanks everyone for playing the “What Comes Next Game!”
Gina Adopts A Baby Part 1
There’s a lot of excitement on Sesame Street because Gina is adopting a baby! After a lot of planning, today is the day that Gina is flying to Guatemala to pick up baby Marco and bring him home. Gina has been waiting for this moment and has made sure that everything is taken care of while she is away. There is a veterinarian covering for her, and Luis and Gordon are setting up the crib. Big Bird, Elmo, Baby Bear and Rosita have noticed all of the excitement, but they don’t know what it means to adopt a baby. Gina explains that there is a baby that needs love and caring for and she wants to be the person to provide those things. They all can’t wait to meet the new baby and help in any way they can. The next time they see Gina, she will be a mommy and she will have a new family!
Gina Adopts A Baby Part 2
Gina is coming home today with her newly adopted baby Marco and everyone can’t wait for them to arrive! Everyone has been so busy gathering blankets and diapers, making mobiles, and putting together the crib that that they didn’t even realize that Gina and Marco had finally arrived. They all want to continue helping, but what Gina and the baby really need is some rest. This doesn’t stop Elmo and Big Bird from wanting to teach the baby the alphabet or Telly from giving the baby a triangle lovers test. Finally, all of the helpers leave and Gina has some time alone with her baby. She is extremely happy to be a mommy and to take care of her new family. Everyone returns and Gina realizes that she is going to need lots of help, and she is grateful that everyone cares so much.
Gina Adopts A Baby Part 3
Snuffy and Big Bird want to play with their new friend Marco, Gina’s baby. They have brought a whole wagon full of things to play with, such as a baseball bat and glove, rollerskates, a pogo stick, and checkers. Gina tells them that the baby is still too young to play with any of those things. She suggests that they think like babies to come up with games that everyone can play together. Big Bird and Snuffy remember playing peek-a-boo, singing songs, and guessing animal sounds. They have so much fun on their playdate, but now they are ready to take naps.
National Try A New Food Day!
It’s “National Try a New Food Day” and Telly is the Monster On-The-Spot Reporter. His first report is about Baby Bear, who always has his porridge with brown sugar and honey, but today he is going to try it with fresh fruit. It’s delicious and he wants to try his porridge with a new fruit every day. Oscar tries a cherry on top of his chocolate ice cream with fish, sauerkraut, and marshmallows, Gordon tries sushi, Elmo and Zoe try asparagus, and Cookie Monster tries celery. The only one who hasn’t tried something new is Telly. He is a little apprehensive because he always has his grilled cheese sandwich cut into triangles. But what if it was cut into squares instead? To his surprise squares are as yummy as triangles!
Oscar and Grundgetta Race the Sloppy Jalopy
Oscar and Grundgetta planned to race the Sloppy Jalopy in the Nastycar Races, but the Jalopy won’t start. Maria and Luis offer to help, but Oscar insists that Grouches never need help. Grundgetta thinks that they should cooperate. Oscar finally agrees, but Maria and Luis aren’t able to fix it. Oscar then calls a grouch mechanic to try, but that doesn’t work either. Then they try magic from Abby, but she turns the Jalopy into a pumpkin. They all cooperate to turn the Jalopy back to normal, but Oscar is about to give up. Just then, Gina’s baby tosses his bottle and it hits the Jalopy. It starts to run! It’s too late to make the race, but Oscar and Grundgetta win anyway. If your Jalopy never moves, you win first place.
Abby's First Day of School
It’s Abby’s first day at school and she is so excited to learn. Mrs. Goose introduces Abby to the class, and they sing her the “Welcome Song,” making her feel at home. Next it’s time for Show and Tell, but Abby didn’t know she was supposed to bring something to share. Abby decides to use her magic wand to leave school and ask Elmo for help. As Elmo tells Abby that the class would love to see her wand, he accidentally taps his head with the wand and appears at Abby’s school. Abby thinks it would be more fun to introduce Elmo to the class for Show and Tell and share about what a good friend he is. Mrs. Goose allows Elmo to be the class guest for the day and they sing him the “Welcome Song.” Abby is having a great first day of school and is so happy to be learning so many new things.
The Bookaneers
Alan and Elmo are reading a book in Hooper’s store when suddenly three pirates appear. The pirates call themselves the Bookaneers because they love to read and they love books! The pirates invite Elmo to become a Bookaneer but he must first pass the Bookaneer test. Elmo has to look like a pirate, say the alphabet with a giant squid, and find three words that start with the letter “F.” For the final part of the test, Elmo has to help the pirates find a treasure by following directions on the map. The map leads them to a sign that reads, “Library,” where they find their treasure - books! The pirates use their library cards to borrow some of their favorite books and Elmo becomes an official Bookaneer.
Chris Looks for a Job
Gordon and Susan’s nephew, Chris Robinson, moves to Sesame Street and is looking for a new job. The first ad he sees is from the Count, who is looking for someone to do exercises so that he can count them. The next ad he sees is for a sales job, selling cookies for Cookie Monster. But Cookie has a hard time parting with his cookies and he no longer wants to sell them. Chris then finds an ad to be Horatio Elephant’s dance partner, but turns it down since he will be paid in peanuts instead of money. When Chris is about to give up, he sees a “Help Wanted” sign hanging in Hooper’s Store. Alan says he can use Chris’s help to stock shelves, work the register, and sweep. Chris can’t wait to start his new job!
Dog Escapes from Abby's Book
Abby, Telly, and Baby Bear are reading a magical book called The Wild Adventures of Action Dog, that moves and makes sounds along with the story. When Abby has to leave, she lets Telly and Baby Bear borrow her book. As the book begins to move out of control, it flies out of their hands and the word “dog” pops rights out and runs away. Telly and Baby Bear think of ways to find the word. They chase the dog, dress up like dogs, and draw a lost dog sign but nothing works. When Abby returns, she suggests turning the book to page 11 where there is a picture of a stick along with the word. Abby tells the dog to fetch the stick and the dog immediately jumps into the page. The word “dog” is back in the book and now they can find out what will happen next in their story.
Lucy the Lazy Lizard
Elmo loves with his favorite book, Lucy the Lazy Lizard. Maria reads him the story of Lucy the Lazy Lizard who lounged lazily on her log when a train came lumbering down the tracks heading straight for her. Luckily, Lucy is the strongest lizard in Lackawanna and lifts the tracks over her head so the train can pass right over. After the story, Maria leaves for work and Elmo looks for someone else to read to him. Elmo asks Telly to read his book but Telly is busy playing with his Triangle train set. Telly is taking the triangles to Tuscaloosa but realize that they have already been there. Elmo suggests taking them to Lackawanna and begins to tell the story about Lucy. Telly acts out the story with his train set and they have the greatest train adventure ever!
Abby Plays the Letter
Elmo and Zoe are having trouble thinking of a game they both want to play, so Alan teaches them the letter “P” game where they have to find things that start with the letter “P.” They find a penguin, a potato, a pineapple, and a peanut butter on pumpernickel bread. When Abby poofs in to join them, she uses her magic to bring Peter Piper and Prince Paul. Although they are both perfect for the letter “P” game, Peter needs to pick his pickled peppers and Prince Paul needs to find Cinderella. They both need to get back to Fairyland, but Abby hasn’t learned how to send them back. She remembers her mommy saying a rhyme while waving her wand and gives it a try. With the help of her friends and the perfect rhyme, Peter and the Prince are successfully sent home.
Big Bird Breaks Elmo's Tricycle
Big Bird tries riding Elmo’s tricycle but ends up breaking it. Elmo is sad his tricycle is broken, and Big Birds feels sad because he didn’t mean to break it. Gordon helps them feel better by reminding them that they can take the broken tricycle to the Fix-It Shop. When they get to the shop, Elmo and Big Bird have to wait since Maria is busy with another customer. While they are waiting, they pretend to ride an imaginary tricycle. Pretend tricycles are lots of fun because they can ride them anywhere their imagination takes them, even under the sea! Elmo has so much fun riding his pretend tricycle with Big Bird that when his real tricycle is fixed, he decides to keep playing with Big Bird as they ride their pretend tricycles to the moon!
Big Bird Helps Zero
The number Zero is upset because his number means he is nothing. Big Bird decides to show Zero that being nothing is good for something. As they arrive at Hooper’s Store, Alan explains how the number zero helps him keep track of what he needs to order because zero means he ran out of something. Chris and the baseball team also ask Zero to stand by the scoreboard to help keep score. This makes Zero feel better until he thinks it’s his fault Telly’s team doesn’t have any runs. He decides to not be a zero anymore and become a pig instead. This becomes a problem when the Worm Air and Space Agency can’t continue the countdown for the spaceship to blast off. When Big Bird reminds Zero how he helped Alan and Chris, Zero agrees to be himself again and completes the countdown!
Sleepy Grouchy
Oscar, Grundgetta, Elmo, Telly, and Slimey are reading “The Tale of Sleeping Grouchy.” The story tells the tale of a grouchy princess, who says grouchy things. One day, the grouchy princess is on a grouchy walk and disturbs a wizard who is walking nearby. The wizard casts a spell, putting her to sleep for a hundred years. Princess Grouchy’s parents are very upset and want to find a way to break the sleeping spell. They offer to reward any prince who can wake up the princess. Prince Elmo tries to tickle the princess with a feather and Prince Telly tries playing his loud tuba, but she still does not wake up. When Prince Slimey arrives, he gives Princess Grouchy a sweet, loveable kiss on the cheek. The princess wakes up from the spell, and lives grouchily ever after.
Triangle Lover of the Day
Telly invites Baby Bear to the Triangle Lover’s meeting so his best friend can be there when he gets crowned Triangle Lover of the Day. The meeting begins with the building of the triangle in the same way they always do it. When Baby Bear suggests building the triangle in a different way, the triangle lovers learn that as long as it has three sides and three corners, a triangle is a triangle! Baby Bear continues to give new ideas to improve the Triangle Lover’s Anthem and Cheer by adding new rhymes. When it is time to decide the Triangle Lover of the Day, Baby Bear gets crowned instead of Telly. Telly is upset, but Gordon helps him learn that it’s okay to feel jealous. Baby Bear reminds Telly that he may win the crown at the next meeting since nobody loves triangles more than he does.
Fairy Tale Emergency
Prairie Dawn, the Fairy Tale News reporter, is here to ask, “How can you prepare for an emergency?” An emergency is when something unexpected happens, and you have to be prepared to do something fast. First she interviews the Three Little Pigs who are preparing for the Big Bad Wolf. One of the pigs has an emergency kit full of bricks to build his house if the wolf blows it away. Next, she interviews Sleeping Beauty who prepares a wake-up kit which includes an alarm clock and a rooster, in case the prince isn’t around to kiss her and wake her up. Lastly, Prairie Dawn interviews Baby Bear who is ready for a home invasion from Goldilocks, thanks to his Porridge Detector Protector that he has invented with the help of his friends.
Rosita, Telly, and Zoe Play House
Rosita, Telly, and Zoe play house and pretend to be a happy family. They have trouble agreeing on who gets to dust the lamp and who gets to use the vacuum. This makes them angry, but they learn to work together and take turns. When it’s time to go for a drive, they can’t agree on who gets to drive the pretend car or where they are going. They become frustrated and decide they can’t play happy family anymore since they’re not happy all the time. Alan explains that a family doesn’t need to be happy all the time. Sometimes families can be sad or get angry at each other, but that doesn’t stop them from being a family. They learn that families work out their problems together and agree to have Alan drive the pretend car and go to a place everyone would like.
The Missing Melon
Gabi, Telly and Zoe are having a picnic. When their melon suddenly disappears, Telly and Zoe become detectives to solve the mystery. They begin by asking questions and retracing their steps. When they realize that no one saw the melon disappear, they decide to place an orange where the melon used to be, hoping to catch the melon thief in action. As they’re looking for a hiding place, the orange disappears too! Telly decides to dress up as a melon and stand where both the melon and the orange had been. When Zoe doesn’t see Telly disappear, she takes out a magnifying glass and notices tiny footprints on the table, leading to an ant who has carried the melon, orange and Telly to the garden to have her own picnic. Telly and Zoe invite the ant to their picnic to share their food all together.
Elmo Sends Abby a Letter
Elmo is writing a letter to Abby because she has never received one before. Elmo gets some paper and crayons but remembers that he doesn’t know how to write. Chris helps Elmo by listening to what Elmo wants to say and writing it down for him. Elmo decides to end the letter with, “Love, Elmo” and realizes he can write his name on his own! Chris addresses the envelope, puts a stamp on it, and puts Elmo’s letter inside. When Elmo tells Abby about the letter, they get so excited they decide to read the letter instead of putting it in the mailbox. Chris helps Abby read her very first letter and she is so happy and excited. Abby can’t wait to write her first letter to Elmo, thanking him for the letter.
All for a Song
Big Bird and Elmo sing a special song about two friends who sing together. As they get ready to sing the song again, Abby appears. She asks if she can sing, too, but Big Bird realizes they can no longer sing their song about two friends because two friends plus one friend makes three friends! This is a problem and they decide to ask Gabi for help. Gabi suggests that they sing a song about the number three instead. When they don’t know a song about three, Abby, Elmo, and Big Bird decide to come up with a song of their own. Big Bird starts the song and Elmo and Abby happily join in. When a little boy comes along asking to join, Big Bird wonders if there’s a song about the number four.
Gordon Teaches Telly Golf
Gordon is practicing for a game of golf he is going to play with Alan. When Telly sees Gordon practicing, he suggests practicing as if he were on a real golf course. Gordon explains that there are hills on a real golf course and Telly thinks of a way to make hills. After considering using a turkey sandwich, which would be too flat, or a basketball, which might roll away, he comes up with the idea of using pillows. When Gordon explains how there are water hazards and sand traps as well, Telly borrows Bert and Ernie’s wading pool and buckets of sand. As Gordon is practicing, Alan says that it’s going to be windy according to the weather report. Telly brings in a large fan for Gordon to practice with. Gordon’s ball goes in and thanks to Telly, he is ready for a real round of golf.
Slimey Competes for the Worm Cup
Everyone is gathered to watch the Worm Cup, a game where worms from all over the world try to kick a ball into a cup. This year Slimey, from Sesame Street, is a finalist competing against Squirmadene, from France. Squirmadene gets his ball into the cup and now it’s Slimey’s turn. Slimey uses his scrunchy kick but the ball bounces back out of the cup, leaving Slimey very upset. Squirmadene teases him and Slimey pushes him with his head. The referee throws Slimey out of the game and Squirmadene wins the Worm Cup. Oscar tells Slimey that no matter how angry he is, he should always use his words and never hurt another worm. Slimey apologizes to Squirmadene and explains that he doesn’t like to be teased. Squirmadene apologizes too, and in a show of good sportsmanship they share the Worm Cup.
Elmo Wants a Pet Dinosaur
Gabi is reading Elmo a book called Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs because Elmo loves dinosaurs! When Gabi has to leave to go to class, Elmo imagines himself with a pet dinosaur and sings a song about all the fun things they would do together. When Elmo asks Gina where he might find a pet dinosaur, she tells him that dinosaurs are extinct. Dinosaurs lived a very long time ago, but there aren’t any left anywhere. Elmo is upset because he really wants a pet dinosaur, so Snuffy dresses up in a dinosaur costume. He pretends to be a Shaggy Snufflesaurus, looking to be someone’s pet. This makes Elmo very excited and together they sing about all the fun things they will do together. This dinosaur needs lots of exercise as well as a cabbage and spaghetti.
Zoe and Rosita Find Abby's Magic Wand
Zoe and Rosita find Abby’s magic wand. Rosita wonders what it would be like to be a fairy god-monster and convinces Zoe that they could help Maria with her work by using Abby’s wand. They say some words that rhyme and when the sparkles clear, Maria disappears, leaving a chicken in her place. To bring Maria back, they try saying another rhyme, and then rhyme in Spanish while hopping, but things only seem to be getting worse. When Abby comes to find her wand, she tries to change Maria back with her rhyme but changes her into a clucking pumpkin! To everyone’s surprise, Maria shows up and it turns out that she was in the hardware store the whole time. The pumpkin was Mrs. Chicken, who was coming to pick up her toaster. With the help of Abby’s mommy, Mrs. Chicken is turned back to normal.
The Amazing Alphabet Race
Elmo has been chosen to play “The Amazing Alphabet Race,” a game show hosted by Amazing Al. In order to play, Elmo has to find all the letters of the alphabet before a clucking chicken tap dances his way to a gong. Elmo discovers that there are letters all around him. He finds letters on signs, on Oscar’s trashcan, and in front of Hooper’s Store. Telly joins in and together they find more letters on a pogo stick and in Abby’s book. They continue working against the cluck, finding letters all around the street. When they need to look for the last four letters of the alphabet, Elmo and Telly notice the ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ delivery man’s package which has all the letters they need. They point to the remaining letters just in time and win the game!
Ralphie the Parrot Flies Away
Baby Bear’s pet parrot, Ralphie, can squawk, say words, and even rhyme! He is also one of Baby Bear’s best friends. When Ralphie flies away and hides in a tree, Baby Bear gets very upset. Baby Bear finds him, but Ralphie won’t listen or come down. Baby Bear asks Elmo and Zoe to dress up like parrots and dance the Parrot Polka to bring Ralphie down, but it doesn’t work. Zoe brings food for Ralphie, thinking he may be hungry but Ralphie flies further away. Alan helps Baby Bear understand that Ralphie wants to use his wings and fly. Just when Baby Bear starts to accept that Ralphie is gone, he comes back! Baby Bear learns that sometimes a bird has to fly and sometimes a bird has to come home.
Chris Teaches Elmo How to Bowl
Chris and Elmo are playing with Chris’s toy bowling set. Chris teaches Elmo how to hold the ball and swing his arm straight toward the pins. On his first two tries, Elmo doesn't knock any pins over, so Chris helps him practice his swing with an imaginary ball. When Elmo tries it with a real ball, he still doesn't knock any pins down. He becomes frustrated and says that he doesn’t want to bowl again. When Chris asks him if that would make him feel better, Elmo says that it wouldn’t and that he would like to knock down the pins. Chris explains that some things are hard to do and take lots of time. Elmo decides to try and try again. He stands a little closer and concentrates as he swings the ball just as he practiced. Elmo knocks down a pin and is so excited he gives Chris a big hug.
Elmo Teaches Abby to Make Believe
Abby shows Elmo her frog, Prince. Elmo doesn't understand how a frog could be a Prince. Abby explains that he was a Prince who got turned into a frog. Elmo thinks Abby's trick is so cool that he asks Abby to kiss his cheek to see if he will turn into a frog. Although Elmo doesn't turn into a real frog, he pretends to be one. Abby doesn't understand how Elmo can be red, have fur, and still be a frog so Elmo teaches her what it means to make believe. Abby wants to make believe that she is a chicken. Elmo helps her peck, bawk like a chicken, and pretend to have wings and feathers. When Gordon comes by, they all pretend to be him by following what he says. Elmo and Abby learn that they can pretend to be anything as long as they have their imagination.
Elmo Feels Jealous of Marco
Elmo is excited to play checkers with Gina. When they only get to play one turn because she has to go feed Marco, Elmo feels jealous and upset. Why does Marco get so much attention while Elmo gets none? When Gina returns from feeding Marco, she finds Elmo sitting in Marco’s stroller, pretending to be a baby. Gina plays along but wishes Elmo could be himself again so they could play their game of checkers. She explains that she has enough love for both Marco and Elmo, and she’ll always make special time to be together. While Marco still needs to be taken care of, Elmo can teach Marco lots of new things and when Marco is old enough, they can play together and be friends.
Rosita Gets Upset at Zoe and Abby
Rosita and Zoe are so excited to play Rosita’s favorite game of hide and seek. As they are about to start, Abby appears and suggests playing a game of Jumping Rhymes. Rosita was excited to play hide-and-seek, but perhaps they could play one rhyming game first. When it’s finally time to play hide-and-seek, Rosita sees Zoe and Abby dancing ballet. This makes Rosita feel disappointed as they weren’t playing her favorite game anymore. Rosita storms off thinking Zoe and Abby just wanted to play with each other and not with her. Maria and Gabi encourage Rosita to tell Zoe and Abby how she feels. When Rosita tells them, Zoe is confused because she thought they were all having fun together. In order to play together and make everyone happy, they decide to each take turns picking what game to play.
Grouch News Network
Oscar the Grouch is the host of the Grouch News Network. His first breaking news story is about Cookie Monster who is upset when his cookie breaks in half. Thanks to Oscar, Cookie realizes that he now has two half cookies. Oscar reports a celebrity sighting of Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty playing checkers. When Sleeping Beauty falls asleep during their game, Oscar gives him an idea to kiss her to wake her up. Although there has been an elephant stuck in Maria’s bathtub all day, which is the kind of grouchy news his viewers need, Bob comes to the rescue with a bag of peanuts after watching GNN. Oscar thinks his show is ruined from all the helping, but it’s so nice, happy, and sweet that it’s aggravating. The grouches love it and Oscar wins the Plemmy Award.
The Golden Triangle of Destiny
Minnesota Mel is on an adventure to find the Golden Triangle of Destiny on Sesame Street. When Mel hurts his leg and is unable to finish the search, Texas Telly continues the adventure. A giant boulder gives Texas Telly the first clue to look “under” something. He uses a jackhammer to dig under the ground and finds a shape with five sides, the Golden Pentagon of Destiny. Texas Telly is disappointed, but a friendly snake gives him the word “laundromat” for the next clue. At the laundromat, Murray and Leela help Texas Telly look under more things and find a shape with eight sides, the Golden Octagon of Destiny. Texas Telly is ready to give up and sits on a chair but feels a pointy object under the cushion. He finds a shape with three sides and three angles: the Golden Triangle of Destiny!
Telly's Shoes
The Fairy Shoe Person, played by Neil Patrick Harris, visits Sesame Street and gave Abby Cadabby a great, new pair of shoes. He sings about many different kinds of shoes and uses his magic shoe horn to surprise Telly with his first pair. He gives Telly running shoes but Telly can not stop running. The Fairy Shoe Person then uses the magic shoe horn and gives Telly ballet shoes but all the spinning makes him dizzy. The Fairy Shoe Person uses the shoe horn a third time and gives Telly a pair of "elevator" shoes that make him grow as tall as a building. The Fairy Shoe Person disappears and Telly realizes that his feet feel great and his toes can roam freely without shoes. Shoes are for people and fairies. Monsters don’t need shoes to run, jump, dance, and hop.
Sock Chaos at the Laundromat
Chris does his laundry at the Sesame Street Laundromat as an Anything Muppet Lady finishes hers. While folding his clothes, he notices a sock is missing. Socks come in pairs, so he must find the matching sock. Abby appears and has a new “two trick” to turn one thing into two things. She waves her wand and a talking pink polka dot sock appears, but it doesn’t match Chris’ striped sock. Abby tries her “more trick” and four more socks appear: an argyle sock with diamond shapes, a white gym sock with blue stripes, a red sock, and a baby sock but none of the them match Chris’ striped sock. Abby, Elmo, and the socks do the “Five Sock Conga.” The Anything Muppet lady returns to the laundromat. She holds a sock that got into her laundry by mistake. It’s a striped sock that matches Chris’ sock!
Leela's Sesame Street Video
Leela is making a video of Sesame Street to send to her parents in India! Prairie Dawn suggests taping the letter “O” with some oatmeal cookies, but Cookie Monster eats them all before she can film anything. Leela spots Jack B. Nimble about to jump over a candlestick. As she grabs the camera to film, he crashes into her and she’s unable to get anything on tape. Leela sees Big Bird and the Birdketeers singing the alphabet and starts to tape, but the meeting ends before she films much. Oscar says Leela can film her but as she starts, he tricks her and stays in his can. Leela is sad that she does not have anything on video to show her parents. Alan, Big Bird, Rosita, Prairie and the Letter O sit on the steps together. She is happy to tape the most amazing part of Sesame Street: her friends.
Firefly Show
Telly and Baby Bear are catching fireflies! When they spot a firefly, they chase it all over Sesame Street with their net and jar. Telly has an idea to use a flashlight to attract the firefly, so it thinks the blinking light is another firefly. When the firefly approaches, they catch it and put it in their jar. They notice its light getting dimmer. Leela suggests finding out what is wrong by pretending to be fireflies. When they pretend that someone has put them in a small jar with little room to move, they realize that the firefly is sad because it has no room to fly. They decide to let it go and see that the firefly is happy again. Telly and Baby Bear have more fun singing and pretending to be fireflies. Luis plays “The Firefly Song” and Maria teaches the Spanish word for firefly.
Max the Magician
Max the Magician appears on Sesame Street. Rosita, Big Bird, Elmo, and Chris are all excited to see magic tricks. For the first trick, Max takes out one scarf out of his pocket and takes out two other scarves to make a total of three scarves. For his next trick, he makes five cards disappear one by one. He also turns one piece of rope into two pieces. Everyone is amazed and wants to know the secrets, but Max will not tell. Chris explains that Max was doing addition when two scarves became three and subtraction when the cards were taken away one by one. Big Bird also figures out that Max was dividing the rope to make it into two pieces and replicates the trick with his breadstick. All of Max’s tricks were math! Now everyone knows the secrets of his tricks and Max magically disappears.
Annual Triangle Toss
Telly is excited to participate in the Triangle Lovers’ Annual Triangle Toss. It is a game like ring toss but with triangles. Telly plays every year and wins, which he credits to his lucky triangle vest. Telly’s vest is too small now and Baby Bear and Leela help him squeeze into it but the vest rips! Telly’s not sure if he can toss a triangle without his lucky vest but Baby Bear and Leela urge him to try. When Telly misses his first toss, he is discouraged but doesn’t give up. Following his friends’ advice, Telly imagines wearing his lucky vest and his next two tosses are successful. Everyone celebrates Telly’s win and he gives his repaired vest to an aspiring Triangle Lover, who hopes to love triangles as much as Telly does.
Elmo and Zoe's Hat Contest
It is Who Can Wear the Most Hats on Their Head Day on Sesame Street! Elmo and Zoe are competing as Chris and Alan add more and more hats and the Hat Check Girl counts them. When the Dinger rings its bell, Elmo and Zoe perform challenges while balancing the hats on their heads. These include saying the alphabet while standing on one leg and estimating the number of hats on their heads. When there are no more hats to add, Abby Cadabby casts a spell for additional hats. Since “hats” and “bats” rhyme, she inadvertently creates bats at first but then casts a spell creating a huge tower of hats on both their heads. The Hat Check Girl counts the hats by fives. Elmo and Zoe are tied with thirty hats on each of their heads!
Telly the Tiebreaker
Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, and two friends are building a block house together. When they can’t agree on putting a square or a circle on top, Alan helps solve the problem by asking them to raise their hands to vote for their preference. After counting the votes, the square wins by one. Elmo and Zoe vote again when they each want to sing different songs but end up with a tie. Realizing they need more voters, Zoe and Elmo have Rocco and Dorothy vote as well, but it is still a tie. Alan explains they need one more voter to decide because both sides have the same number of votes. Telly becomes the tie breaker but has a hard time deciding. He wishes they vote on doing “The Triangle Dance” instead and everyone agrees. It’s unanimous because everyone votes to do “The Triangle Dance.”
Curly Bear Chases Birthday Cake
Mama Bear made Baby Bear’s favorite Chocolate-Porridge Birthday Cake for his party; but he worries that his little sister, Curly Bear might ruin it. Telly decides to help Baby Bear by keeping Curly Bear away from the cake. They play party games and distract Curly Bear but whenever she sees the cake or hears the word, she runs for it. In his efforts to prevent Curly Bear from ruining the cake, Telly breaks the limbo stick, wrecked the Pin the Spoon on the Porridge Bowl picture, and while on the pogo stick, falls right onto the cake! Baby Bear gets upset. Telly leaves because he thinks he ruined the party. Baby Bear apologizes for yelling and realizes friends are much more important than cake. They return to the party together and blow out the candles on the remainder of the cake.
Big Bird and Snuffy Talent Show
Big Bird and Snuffy are having a Talent Show but they don’t know what a Talent Show is. When Leela explains that it’s a show where people do different things like singing and dancing or anything they like to do, they ask her to be part of the it. Leela juggles an apple and orange while singing the ABCs. Big Bird and Snuffy search for other guests for their show but see Wolfgang the Seal playing the glockenspiel too close to them. They ask Wolfgang to play elsewhere. Cookie Monster joins the show and gobbles down a cookie. Leela returns to tap dance around and with her laundry. When they see Wolfgang again, Leela recognizes Wolfgang’s talent. Big Bird and Snuffy realize they were chasing away the talent. Wolfgang the Seal plays his glockenspiel and they have the greatest talent show ever.
Number 6 Games
It’s the Number 6 Day on Sesame Street! All the games, songs, and festivities are about the number six. Telly brings out five cheerleaders and adds Chris as their sixth cheerleader. For the Six Pig Tickle, but there are seven pigs tickling Elmo instead of six. Telly thinks the Number 6 day is ruined but Chris explains that since seven is one more than six, one pig can be taken away to equal six. The next event is the Chicken Laying Six Eggs event at Big Bird’s nest. When the chicken only lays three eggs, Big Bird brings another chicken that lays another three. By adding up all the eggs, they get six eggs all together! For the finale, Pete is going to sing “Six Penguins in My Shirt” song. When Telly hears that Pete missed his flight, he sings the song and saves the Number 6 Day!
Abby Thinks Oscar is a Prince
Chris reads Abby a story about a princess who kisses a frog and it turns into a prince. Since Oscar is green like a frog and grouchy, Abby thinks he could be an enchanted prince who was turned into a grouch by a Fairy Grouchmother. She believes that a kiss can break the spell and turn him back to Prince Oscar. He does not want to be kissed. She keeps trying to kiss him and even chases him down his can. Oscar asks Chris for a disguise, so Abby will not recognize him. When Abby finds him, Chris suggests allowing Abby to kiss him to prove that he is not a prince. Abby finally kisses Oscar and learns Oscar is just Oscar the Grouch and not a prince after all. She still loves him just the way he is! Chris tells Abby the frog in the story is a fairy tale frog and frogs will always be frogs.
Big Bird's Nest Sale
Big Bird sells his old toys at his nest sale. Snuffy helps by remembering everything in the nest is for sale and everything out of it, especially Radar, is not. As Big Bird leaves to get more of his old toys, his tail accidentally drops his teddy bear, Radar, into the nest. The Count buys all the toys in the nest in exchange for birdseeds. When Big Bird returns and looks for Radar, he and Snuffy realize that it was sold to The Count. He says he gave it to a thin, tall curly-haired monster. When they find a monster who fits the description, they learn he gave Radar to a little girl who lost her teddy bear. Big Bird is heartbroken. That little girl comes to the nest sale looking for a baseball glove. She does not have birdseed so she trades the glove for a teddy bear. Big Bird hugs Radar!
Slimey Adopts a Pet Bug
Oscar takes his pet worm Slimey in his sloppy jalopy to the “Bug-a-Wee Bug Shelter.” Slimey is excited to get a pet bug. Natalie, the worker at the Bug Shelter, shows Slimey the four different kinds of bugs they have. Slimey’s decision is made when the Detroit Dirt Digger stops digging in the dirt and approaches him. Slimey names him Dirty. When they get home, Dirty is hiding because everything is new to him. Oscar suggests reading “The Bug Book” that Natalie gave them. Oscar and Slimey read the first chapter and learn that Dirty may be frightened. In order to calm him down, Oscar and Slimey wear bug antennae hats to make him feel at home. When that does not help make Dirty feel comfortable, they sing the “Welcome Bug Song.” Their song makes Dirty less afraid and he plays with Slimey.
Elmo Steps In for Super Grover
Super Chicken and sidekick, Robin, help Elmo get his airplane out of the tree. Feeling slighted, Super Grover remarks it would be easy to be a superhero if he has a sidekick to help. Horatio the Elephant, wearing a cape, offers to be Super Grover’s sidekick and together they set off to help others in need. Throughout their adventures, Horatio runs off in the wrong direction and get stuck in doorways. While Super Grover and Chris help Horatio become unstuck, Elmo not only helps Baby Bear find a fourth animal for his quartet but also gets a basketball unstuck from the hoop. When Horatio decides to return to the ballet company, Super Grover needs to find another sidekick. Even though Elmo has done a super job of solving everyone's problems today, he prefers to just play with his airplane.
Abby's First Sleepover
Abby and Big Bird have a sleepover! Abby takes her wand, pillow, and her favorite book to Big Bird’s nest. When nobody is available to read a bedtime story, they ask Maria. She and Luis are going dancing, but they agree to read first. Before the story, Abby does her bedtime routine. She brushes her wings, sings the “Brush the Wings” song, and gets tucked into bed. Maria finishes the book and is about to leave when it begins to rain. To help get Abby out of the rain, Maria and Luis invite Big Bird and Abby to have the sleepover at their apartment. Abby’s mommy grants a wish to thank Maria and Luis. Their wish was to go dancing and soon their living room transforms into a ballroom. Maria and Luis dance under the disco ball while Big Bird and Abby have the best sleepover ever!
Three Cheers for Us
While Elmo is trying to bounce his ball three times in a row, Zoe comes along with her pompoms and cheers for him. Elmo tries again and is successful with the help of Zoe’s cheer. Elmo asks if he can be a Sesame Street Cheerleader and they search for someone to cheer. They cheer for Telly, who is trying to boing on his pogo-stick three times with a triangle on his head. Telly succeeds and becomes a cheerleader too. They find Alan, Gordon, Maria, and a Chicken but they do not need cheerleaders for the chess game, or fixing a toaster, or going to a violin lesson. Instead of giving up, the cheerleaders cheer for themselves until some sheep and penguins ask if they would like to cheer for their football game. Instead of choosing one team to cheer for, Zoe, Elmo, and Telly cheer for everybody!
Sesame Street Bird Games
Chris and Alan become the judges of the Sesame Street Bird Games. This is a game where birds of all feathers compete in exciting bird events. Big Bird, a duck, and a chicken are the contestants. The first event is the Square Meal Peck where each bird must make a square out of bird seed. The duck wins by making a shape with four equal sides. In the Thirty-Second Egg Lay event, the chicken wins because it is the only bird that can lay an egg. After Big Bird wins the rhyming competition, all scores are tied. For the final event, each bird must do a dance, showing what it feels like to be a bird. All of them dance so “birdy” in their own way that Alan and Chris decide that Big Bird, the chicken and the duck all win! The grand prize is ten pounds of birdseed which they all feast on together.
Elmo Wants to Be Like Gordon
Elmo wants to be just like Gordon, so he spends the day looking and acting just like him. Elmo reads the newspaper, upside down at first, when The Count counts 2 Gordons, 2 newspapers, and 2 mustaches. Elmo asks to do the Chicken Dance like Gordon. Gordon wasn’t planning on doing the Chicken Dance, so Elmo and a group of chickens wearing mustaches like Gordon, dance it. Big Bird asks Gordon to read “Humpty Dumpty” to him. Elmo wants to read the book like Gordon would, but he cannot read yet. Elmo listens to Gordon read so that one day he will be able to read just like him. Gordon reads the story so well that Humpty Dumpty, the King’s Horses, and the King’s Men all appear looking like Gordon. They want to be just like him, too! Gordon says, “I had no idea it was so much fun being me.”
Elmo and Leela Look for a Mine-itis Cure
Sesame Street Nightly News Update reports Mine-itis is going around Sesame Street. It is a grouch disease where no one shares and says “Mine!” They often take other people’s belongings. Shocked, Elmo and Leela investigate. Elmo wants to hug Radar but Big Bird yells “Mine!” Elmo wants to see the balloon, but Snuffy also yells “Mine!” Maria, Luis and Gabi share a family picnic. Oscar says they won’t share for long because of Mine-itis. Soon, Maria shows symptoms. She gets itchy, hops like a kangaroo, twirls around, and takes all the food. The reporter grabs Oscar’s ice cream and binoculars so he is forced to tell the cure: a grouch needs to share. Oscar shares his old shoe with the reporter. People are finally cured one by one. Everyone on Sesame Street is sharing again, thanks to Oscar!
Hurry Up You're Running Out of Time with Denny the Distractor
Telly is a contestant on his favorite game show “Hurry Up! You’re Running Out of Time!” hosted by Guy Smiley. Telly must recite the alphabet in one minute while Denny the Distractor plays instruments, sings, and makes noises to distract Telly. On his first try, Telly is sidetracked and runs out of time. He is given a second chance and chooses Chris to help him. Denny distracts both of them and they run out of time again. Telly and Chris are given a third and final chance but Telly feels frustrated. Chris encourages him that they can work as a team. Telly focuses only on Chris and does not get distracted. Telly and Chris win. For their prize, Telly chooses to say the alphabet without a time limit or distractions. Chris and Telly dress up and sing the alphabet song with the Oinker Sisters.
Maria the Cow Girl
Big Bird, Elmo, and Abby are excited to hear Gordon read "Maria the Cowgirl - The Lonesome Trail." It is about Maria the Cowgirl and her hobbyhorse Amigo. They meet Bad Duck who says that the trail is not big enough for both of them. As she rides, Bad Duck blocks her by getting in front. She solves that problem by going in the opposite direction of Bad Duck. Everyone wants to hear the story again, but Gordon has to leave. Big Bird suggests acting out the story and Abby pretends to be Maria. When both Big Bird and Elmo want to be Bad Duck, Abby solves the problem by choosing Big Bird as Bad Duck and Elmo as Amigo. A Tumbleweed asks to join and wants to be Maria the Cowgirl. Abby and the Tumbleweed decide to be Maria together. Everyone sings and has a fun time acting out the story.
The Cookie Touch
Cookie Monster wishes to never have to wait for a cookie again. The Cookie Fairy appears and grants his wish. She gives him “The Cookie Touch,” making everything he touches turn into a cookie. To share his happiness, Cookie Monster turns Telly’s favorite triangle and Big Bird’s book into cookies. When it is time for lunch, he touches his tuna sandwich which also turns into a cookie. Cookie realizes he will never be able to eat anything but cookies again. Telly and Big Bird are upset because they want their favorite things back. Cookie Monster decides to ask Chris for advice, but he accidentally turns him into a cookie too! He regrets that he ever made his wish. The Cookie Fairy reverses the spell. All his friends are happy again and Cookie Monster runs home to eat his mommy’s lasagna.
The Help-o-Bots
Chris reads the story of “Rico, The Very Helpful Robot!” to Elmo, Telly and Rosita. After hearing the story, they decide to become Help-O-Bots to help Chris at Hooper’s store. They start being very helpful, but then they go too fast making more of a mess for Chris. The seventeen pies go all over and one even lands on his head! The Help-O-Bots tell Chris they can change into brooms, vacuums, and feather dusters to become a great cleaning force. However, as they start cleaning, they make the mess even worse. The Help-O-Bots are upset that they have failed their mission. Chris suggests they figure out what they are really good at and use that strength to help others. When they realize they are good at the alphabet, they become the Alpha-beta-bots to help those with alphabet-related issues.
Baby Bear's New Baby Sitter
Papa Bear says that Grandmama Bear has a cold and will not be able to babysit for Baby Bear and Curly Bear. Gabi can babysit but Baby Bear thinks his sister might be nervous with a new babysitter. In reality, he is the nervous one. When Gabi arrives, Baby Bear guides her through what Grandmama does when she babysits. She makes porridge-raisin cookies, sings the golden oldie bear songs, and plays bear games. Although Gabi does not exactly know how to do those things, she introduces them to a new granola bar snack, a new bear song, and different fun games. Baby Bear is no longer nervous and has a great time. He looks forward to Gabi babysitting again. He learns that it is important to have an open mind to new experiences and that even though things are different, they can still be fun!

Frankly It's Becoming a Habitat
Freddy Flapman is helping Big Bird find a new home to migrate to where is it warm. Big Bird goes on a virtual tour to see how birds live in different habitats. Freddy first takes Big Bird to the beach where there are pelicans, gulls, and beautiful ocean views. When Big Bird says he likes visiting the beach, but wouldn’t want to live there, Freddy takes him to a big swamp. Big Bird learns that there are owls and ducks living in this habitat but decides it’s not the right place for him. Freddy transforms Big Bird’s nest into a rainforest, a warm and colorful place with animals of every color and size. Although Big Bird would like to move to the rainforest, he realizes Sesame Street is where he belongs because that’s where all his friends are.
The Cowmonster Pair
Elmo and Telly are helping Little Bo Peep find her cow. As they find animal tracks on the ground, Telly tosses his lasso and catches a chicken. They see that the animal tracks have three long toes just like the chicken’s claws. Elmo and Telly continue their search for round animal tracks and find some on a trashcan. Telly tosses his lasso and catches a raccoon, who has a paw with a circle in the middle with four ovals fingers. Elmo and Telly also find animal tracks in the shape of two half-moons, but the tracks are from a moose. Telly becomes discouraged but Elmo reminds him that they can’t give up. Elmo realizes they have to find tracks that look like moose tracks but only smaller. They follow some animal tracks that lead to a door and finally they find the cow!
Baby Bear is Afraid of Bees
A bee flies into Abby’s garden and scares Baby Bear. Abby decides to do a spell, so Baby Bear is no longer afraid of bees, and ends up turning both him and Chris into bees. While Abby tries to find a way to fix her spell, Chris and Baby Bear collect pollen and nectar from a flower. Baby Bear learns that bees spread pollen, which helps flowers and living things grow. When Chris and Baby Bear enter a beehive, Baby Bear learns that bees make wax which is used for candles, soap, and crayons. Baby Bear also learns that bees make honey, and he realizes that bees are not scary after all. Abby finally learns how to undo the spell, and Baby Bear tells her all about how important and incredible bees really are.
Wild Nature Survivor Guy
Wild Nature Survivor Guy is on Sesame Street. He believes that nature is all around and begins his search for food, water, and shelter. Wild Nature Survivor Guy finds a tomato plant and bites into a ripe tomato. Not only do tomatoes come from nature, but all fruits and vegetables come from plants. Wild Nature Survival Guy goes on to look for water and finds leaves with drops of water. Elmo and Rosita learn that although they get water from the faucet, water comes from rain. Wild Nature Survival Guy becomes concerned about nighttime approaching and looks for ways to keep warm. He picks up feathers to put inside his shirt and finds Big Bird’s nest as the perfect shelter. It has lots of branches, which lots of animals use as shelter. Elmo and Rosita learn that nature is all around them!
Abby Makes the Seasons Change
It’s springtime but Elmo wants to go sledding. Chris explains that Elmo has to wait for the seasons to change because there’s no snow in spring. When Abby hears Elmo wishing for it to be winter, she says a spell and changes the season to summer. The blossoms disappear and the arbor is filled with green leaves. Abby tries again and changes the season to fall. It becomes windy and the leaves have changed colors. When Abby gives it one more try, it becomes winter! There are no leaves on the tree and Baby Bear has fallen asleep, hibernating until spring. Elmo is excited to go sledding but learns that seasons come at their own times. Abby recites another magic spell and Sesame Street is transformed again to a perfect spring day.
Y a Quest? Y Not
Telly, Abby, and Elmo learn how to become knights by reading How to be a Knight for a Day. They first dress in suits of shining armor and sing a knight song, “We are Three Knights so Merry.” They hear the letter Y crying because he can’t think of any words that begin with the Y sound. Telly, Abby, and Elmo decide to go on a quest to look for things that being with the letter Y, and they go to Gina’s veterinarian office, the laundromat, and Hooper’s store. They leave feeling disappointed about not being able to find any Y words, and then they see a hairy cow passing by. Alan explains that a hairy cow is called a yak, and yak begins with Y. They also find other words like yogurt and yo-yo. Elmo, Abby and Telly sing the knight song and cheer in delight!
Bears Try to Hibernate
Baby Bear is getting ready to hibernate for five months. Telly and Baby bear set up a play date for the spring when Baby Bear wakes up. Telly says goodbye, and the bears try to go to sleep, but they are not tired. They try counting and then call Max Bear, a hibernation consultant. Max Bear says their cottage is too warm, so they start looking for an empty cave or hollow tree outside. They find a flower bed and start digging a hole to sleep in. When Max Bear suggests the bears eat before hibernating, Chris brings cereal and they like it! They decide to eat it all winter long and not hibernate. Baby Bear happily eats the cereal while spending time with his good friend Telly.
Stinky's Annual Birthday Flower
It’s Stinky the plant’s birthday. Elmo surprises Stinky by giving him a drum, but plants can’t hold drumsticks. Zoe brings Stinky a tutu to wear when he dances but he can’t dance since he is in a pot. Rosita brings Stinky a guitar, but his leaves scratch the strings and make a horrible sound. Cookie Monster rushes in with a plate of cookies but plants don’t eat cookies. When Elmo tells Chris that they have been trying to get Stinky the perfect birthday gift, Chris reminds Elmo they should think about what Stinky would like and not what each of them would like. Stinky already has soil, so he needs water, sunlight and love! Big Bird carries Stinky’s pot over to a table in the sun, Cookie Monster waters Stinky, and Zoe and Rosita give him a big hug.
Elmo Finds a Baby Bird
Elmo and Rosita find a little baby bird. Chris hears the chirping too and places the bird back in its habitat, a tree. When the bird hops out, they think he is hungry, but they don’t know what to feed him. Big Bird comes along and suggests feeding Baby Bird some birdseed. Baby Bird finishes the birdseed and also takes Leela’s sandwich, an apple, and Cookie Monster’s granola cookie. When Baby Bird begins flapping his wings, Elmo and Rosita decide they will teach Baby Bird how to fly. They think Abby can help by showing Baby Bird how she flies with her wings. Everyone begins flapping their wings as Baby Bird begins to fly over Sesame Street. Baby Bird’s mommy comes along and Baby Bird and her mother fly off together as Elmo, Chris and Rosita wave goodbye.
Grouch Messing Machine
Elmo is helping Luis fix a washing machine. Elmo helps Luis get a wrench from the toolbox and find a nut with six sides in the shape of a hexagon. When Luis tries starting the machine again, it starts to bang, clang, and hiccup even louder! Luis suggests that something might be stuck in the spin basket. He opens it and pulls out different objects such as socks, toys, and a cup. Elmo adds up all the objects and counts seven objects all together. Luis throws in clothes and detergent to see if the machine works and the machine starts spewing clothes and soap everywhere. Leela wants to get rid of the machine, but Elmo suggests reusing it for another purpose. Oscar thinks it the greatest machine ever and all the grouches come running to take turns messing up their clothes.
The Cookie Tree
Maria, Luis and Elmo are picking apples from an apple tree. Cookie Monster hears something crunchy and finds out the noise came from an apple. Maria and Luis share how they planted an apple tree by covering an apple seed with soil and giving it lots of sunlight and water. Cookie Monster wonders if he can grow a chocolate chip cookie tree, so he plants a chocolate chip in soil, but nothing happens. He learns that cookies don’t grow on trees, but Abby uses her magic to make cookie trees appear all around Sesame Street. Abby finally thinks of a rhyme to poof the cookie trees away, and Cookie Monster tries a freshly baked apple cinnamon cookie made from apples and realizes that they are just as yummy as chocolate chip cookies.
Mary, Mary Quite Contrary
Mary Mary Quite Contrary dumps a pile of dirt outside Oscar’s trashcan. She is planning to grow a garden with silver bells and cockle shells, but Gordon reminds her that gardens have living things -like vegetables, fruits, or flowers. Mary Mary decides to grow flowers in her garden by using dirt, sun, and water. When a beautiful garden appears by Oscar’s trashcan, he gets his elephant, Fluffy, to squirt water to get rid of the garden, but water helps her flowers grow. Oscar calls for Hairy Hairy, to come with stinky weeds, moldy seeds, and three pigs. Oscar likes the horrible smell from the stinky weeds and loud noises from pigs and asks Mary Mary to keep her garden. As she likes to be contrary and do the opposite, Mary Mary moves her garden.
Abby Has the Sparkle Speckle Fairy Freckles
Abby has a case of the Sparkle Speckle Fairy Freckles! As the freckles jump off her face, they glow and bounce all around Sesame Street. Abby starts chasing her freckles so she can say the magic word and poof them back on her face. She spots one on a cereal box, two more on Rosita’s drawing, and poofs them on her face. Abby needs to find three more but notices that all the freckles seem to be hiding on little circles. She follows two more freckles bouncing into the Laundromat and find one freckle on Baby Bear’s polka dotted underpants and another on Leela’s nose ring. Abby leaves the Laundromat and notices a freckle on Cookie Monster’s cookie. Abby says the magic words and finally all six of her freckles are back on her face.
The Rainbow Show
There is a rainbow in the sky! Elmo calls everybody to come over, but by the time Rosita arrives, the rainbow has disappeared. Leela offers to draw a picture of a rainbow, but she can’t remember all of the colors. She remembers the acronym, Roy G. Biv, and that helps her make the picture. Rosita still wants to see a real rainbow, so Elmo gathers monsters of all different colors to create a monster rainbow. Gordon also tries to help, and makes a rainbow appear using a flashlight, a glass of water, tape, and white paper. Abby also tries to help, and she recites a magic rhyme to make a rainbow appear, but ends up making a rainstorm instead. As the rainstorm passes, Rosita looks up and sees a rainbow!
Amphibian Show
Elmo and Abby are playing, “Find That Amphibian!” They must find an amphibian before the game show’s tadpole turns into a frog, but they don’t know what an amphibian is. The announcer gives them clues that amphibians start out living in water and can breathe air when they grow up. Elmo and Abby meet a fish, but fish can’t breathe air. They also learn that amphibians have four legs and go through metamorphosis, a big change that makes them look different when they grow up. Elmo and Abby find a horse and an alligator which both have four legs, but a horse is a mammal and an alligator is a reptile. As they think about all the clues, they realize that the game show announcer, Anne Phibian, is a newt and matches all the clues. She is an amphibian!
Camping Show
Chris and Elmo are camping in the woods! They unpack their camping supplies and take out two sleeping bags, two canteens, four hotdogs, and six marshmallows. As they prepare for dinner, a beaver asks to join them, but beavers don’t eat hot dogs and marshmallows, but they do eat bark. As they sit down to eat their dinner, two turtles, two raccoons, and four ducks come along. The turtles eat green leaves and dandelions, the raccoons eat acorns and berries, and the ducks eat water plants which are all from the forest. Elmo and Chris both agree they should have a sleepover like this every night!
Squirmadega Car Race
Elmo is watching Slimey racing in the Squirmadega Car Race. To complete the racecourse, the five worms must drive over the laundry basket, under the table, around the fire hydrant, and through the finish line to win the race. The worms start their engines and take off! Cars 1, 2, and 3 lose control and are quickly out of the race, but Shawna Wiggleson and Slimey are still going! As Slimey approaches the finish line, he gets caught in Big Bird’s toes and Shawna wins. Elmo is sad and disappointed since he wanted Slimey to win. However, Slimey is happy because he loves racing whether he wins or loses. Elmo learns that what matters most is that Slimey did his best.
Jack's Big Jump
Jack Be Nimble is getting ready for his big jump over eight candlesticks. As he tries to jump over them, he knocks them over and falls. Jack runs away and hides because he is having so much trouble jumping. Baby Bear and Telly find a kangaroo to help him. When the kangaroo has trouble jumping, he sings the Jumping Song to help him overcome his fear. Jack is able to jump up and down but is still having trouble jumping over the candlesticks. Telly and Baby Bear find the cow that jumped over the moon. Jack practices jumping with the support and help from the cow, and realizes that he is ready to jump over the eight candlesticks. Everybody chants as Jack successfully jumps over the candlesticks!
Inspected By 4
Inspector 4 comes into the Laundromat to inspect for things that are in groups of four. He counts four bottles of fabric softener from the Laundromat and goes on to Hooper’s to find another group of four things. Inspector 4 inspects the peanut butter sandwiches but finds ten sandwiches instead of four. Telly decides to eat one sandwich, then two, and three more so that only four sandwiches remain. As Inspector 4 looks around the steps of Sesame Street, he sees the letter R standing next to a rake. Since the letter R only has one thing that begins with the letter R, Elmo and Telly decide to find three other things that begin with the letter R and add them all together. They find a rose, a rock, and a rodent, so that makes four things all together. Inspector 4’s mission is completed!
Wing in a Sling
Big Bird falls down roller skating and injures his wing. Chris suggests going to Dr. Berger, but Big Bird is nervous that it might hurt. Dr. Berger carefully examines Big Bird’s wing and explains his wing isn’t broken but has a bad sprain. Dr. Berger gently puts a sling on Big Bird’s arm and explains that he has to rest for a few days. Big Bird is sad because he was planning on roller skating all day. Elmo and Zoe cheer him up by singing about all the things Big Bird can do with an injured wing, such as singing songs, drawing pictures, and drinking birdseed milkshakes. Big Bird learns that there are lots of things he can do, especially spending time with his good friends!
The Planet G
Maria is helping Elmo write a story about the letter G. Elmo thinks of the word golf and draws a picture of him playing miniature golf, hitting the ball so hard it flies into space on Planet G. Elmo remembers another G word, goldfish, and draws a picture of himself riding on a goldfish to look for the golf ball. Baby Bear helps him think of the word goose and Elmo draws a goose who thinks the golf ball is her egg. Elmo has to get his ball and decides to draw the goose doing the “Get Up and Go” dance, leaving the golf ball behind. When a goat tries to eat Elmo’s golf ball, Elmo offers the goat some goulash. The goat drops the golf ball and Elmo is able fly back home to Sesame Street. Elmo excitedly reads the story of Elmo’s Adventure on the Planet G to Maria and Chris.
The Counting Booth
The Count needs someone to watch his Counting Booth while he is away, and Elmo and Abby agree to help. The Three Little Pigs come by first, and they are counted one by one to make sure they are all there. Next Old McDonald’s chickens are counted by twos. Baby Bear comes to the counting booth holding ten boxes of crayons with five crayons in each box. Baby Bear wants to know how many crayons he has all together, and Elmo and Abby help count each box by fives. When Snuffy and Big Bird can’t figure out how many fingers all the Birdkeeters have together, they count by tens all the way to eighty. Elmo and Abby even help Super Grover count down using a number line as he blasts off to save the world.
Tribute to Number Seven
Today is the number seven day on Sesame Street! Rosita, Abby, and Zoe begin singing about the number seven as they count seven dancing chickens. As the seven celebration continues, the letter S arrives sniffling because he can’t think of anything to do to help celebrate the number seven. Abby and Zoe suggest finding seven words that begin with the letter S. Together, they think of the words seven, spoon, skate, sandwich, seal, sea star, and snow. Abby performs some number seven magic, making the number seven rise out of Elmo’s hat, seven butterflies appear out of Elmo’s ear, and turning one pumpkin into seven pumpkins. It is an amazingly, awesome, super terrific, seven celebration!
Abby's Tricycle
Abby is preparing to ride her very first tricycle! Gordon teaches Abby by first showing her all the different parts of a tricycle. He explains how the seat, handlebars, and pedals are in the front, and the two wheels are in the back. Abby places her two feet on the pedals and her hands on the handlebars. She learns how to steer using her handlebars by turning one way and then the other. Abby feels frustrated when she can’t push the pedals, and thinks she needs magic. With Gordon’s help, Abby begins to pedal and become so excited her wings start flapping, lifting her tricycle up in the air. After she comes back down, Elmo and Abby have a great time riding their tricycles together.
Jacks Grows His Own Beanstalk
Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk needs a beanstalk, but he only has a cow. Jack has to trade the cow for something, but doesn’t know what. Leela suggests finding something that grows in the ground. Jack returns with a duck, but ducks don’t grow in the ground. Leela tells Jack to find something that rhymes with “jeans.” Jack comes back with a tambourine and although tambourine rhymes with jeans, they don’t grow in the ground either. Jack becomes discouraged and doesn’t think he’ll be able to grow a beanstalk. When Leela tells him to look for something little, Jack trades the cow and comes back with a handful of beans. Jack learns how to plant the beans in the garden by covering the beans with soil, watering them, and keeping them under the sun; and up comes the greatest beanstalk ever!
Princess Show
Abby, Rosita, and a penguin are playing princess. The penguin leaps up and lands on a balcony. A prince tries to rescue her by calling to let down her hair, but penguins don’t have hair. Abby flies up and brings the penguin to the ground. When the penguin can’t find her skate, a prince pulls out a glass slipper, but the penguin can’t skate with a glass slipper. They look for the missing skate instead. As the penguin begins to skate fast, she crashes into a mailbox and gets stuck. The prince comes to kiss her, but that won’t help. They work together and pull her out, but the prince is upset that he wasn’t able to rescue a princess today. Abby explains that just because they are dressed as princesses, they do not need to be saved. The prince agrees and they all play football together.
Camouflage Challenge
Elmo & Rosita try to find six camouflaged things in six minutes. Special Guest Stars Amy Poehler demonstrates what a challenge is, Oprah announces some O-word guests, and Tilly and the Wall perform the ABC song. Plus, a parody of "The Closer." Telly, Elmo, and Rosita are having fun helping their friends out by using all of their five senses. When Leela loses a glove, they use their eyes to find it. They spot a very miserable Oscar whose nose is so stuffed, he can't tell whether his milk is sour! What else will they discover using all of their five senses?
What's in Big Bird's Nest?
Nighty-night! Big Bird is excited to sleep in his new pajamas but when Gordon tucks him in, he can't seem to get comfortable. There's something bothering Big Bird but he can't put his wing on it. This is a problem that only a sleep consultant can solve. As luck would have it, the Princess from the Princess and the Pea arrives to help diagnose the issue.
Rhyming Block

Bert can't fall asleep because Ernie is making too much noise. Bert becomes angry and leaves with his bed in search of quiet place to nap. While they are apart, Bert and Ernie think about what they did and how it made the other feel. They apologize to each other and learn that even though they had a fight, they can still be friends.
Kitty Kindness
There's a lost kitten on Sesame Street. While Chris and Elmo put up signs to try and find its owner, Grover and Cookie Monster help look after it and learn how to take care of a kitten.
Hair Training
Gabrielle and Prairie think they can't dance together because their hair doesn't move the same way. But Nina helps them realize it would be cool to just let their hair do what it wants to do. Then Elmo and Big Bird join their dance and let their fur and feathers do what they want to do. It's more fun to dance together.
Book Worming
Elmo's friend Zuzu is visiting Sesame Street from South Africa. After reading all about her home in the Book Nook, Elmo and Alan throw Zuzu a welcome party with South African food, music and traditional clothing. At the party, Zuzu says she read up on Sesame Street, too.

With Abby's help, Cookie Monster, Elmo and Chris catch who really was taking the cookie art.
Big Bird Across America
Season premiere. Big Bird wants to visit Cousin Bird in California, but he lives to too far for Big Bird to walk. Nina offers to take Big Bird on a road trip to visit Cousin Bird. Nina explains that they can even stop in different parts of the country to meet new friends and learn more about where they live. When Nina and Big Bird are packed and ready to go, Elmo mentions that he's going to miss Big Bird. Nina then comes up with an idea of calling Elmo while they're traveling so that he can still see Big Bird and meet new friends too. (Guest: Dave Grohl).
The Great Sesame Street Cake Off
Cookie Monster and Gonger team up against Grover and Alan in a competition to try to make the very best birthday cake for Nina. Rudy feels frustrated because he made a mistake on his drawing. Alan helps Rudy calm down and encourages him to keep trying. Rudy suddenly gets an idea from his mistake and by using his imagination, he changes his drawing.
There's a New Count in Town
Charlie is counting everything on Sesame Street so the Count decides to leave, thinking he's not needed anymore. But there's too much to count for Charlie on her own so she asks for the Count's help. Charlie explains that she loves to count but she could never take his place. The Count agrees to stay and he and Charlie continuing counting together.

When Abby uses magic to improve Elmo's basketball abilities, Elmo learns there are no shortcuts when it comes to mastering a skill.
Magic Spell
The princess is under a magic sleeping spell and the spell can only be broken if the Prince writes his name on a magic tablet. Elmo and Abby help Prince Billy practice and encourages him to keep trying until he learns how to write his name all by himself.

Elmo and Zoe try to figure out how to make Rocco the rock float. Leela helps them experiment with different materials until they design the perfect vessel.

The Fluffster Kerfuffle
Elmo, Rudy, and Abby play superheroes with their toys while Big Bird and Julia paint nearby. Rudy wants to play with another toy and spots Fluffster, Julia's toy, on a table. But as soon as he takes Fluffster, Julia gets upset. Alan explain that Fluffster is Julia's special toy that helps her calm down so it's not a toy she likes to share. Rudy understands how Julia feels and apologizes for taking Fluffster. And even without sharing their special toys, they all find a way to play together.
The Disappoint-O-Meter
Oscar tries to find someone who's feeling disappointed by using his new disappoint-o-meter but he accidentally helps them feel happy again.
Zoe Breaks Her Arm
Zoe sets off at a running start for her ballet jump but she slips and breaks her arm. When Zoey returns from the doctor, she still wants to play but she can't find anything fun to do. Charlie, Rosita, and Elmo come up with the idea of changing the words to the song "If You're Happy and You Know It," so Zoe can be part of it too, even with a broken arm. (Guest: Misty Copeland).
Dog Day Engineers
Zoe and Rosita help Nina dog sit but their arms get tired after continuously throwing the balls. They don't give up and keep thinking of a way to solve this problem. They figure out how to design a bike-powered ball-throwing machine they can pedal using their feet. They are two real engineers!

Charlie, Grover, Rudy, and Abby help Rosita and her abuela plan for a friend's fiesta. While trying to figure out what they need for the party, they try to guess who Rosita and her abuela's friend could be.

Abby and Rudy want to bring nature inside Hooper's so Chris can feel like he's outside. Abby uses her mom's magic wand but makes a mistake and fills Hooper's with too many animals and plants. Abby apologizes for using her mom's wand without permission and together, with her mom, she learns how to fix her mistake without using magic.

Elmo, Abby, Bert, and Ernie have to be patient and wait for baby chicks to hatch. By singing and making arts and crafts together, they learn that time can fly when you're having fun.

Telly, Elmo, and Abby become knights and go on a quest to help an AM Letter "Y" find its purpose in life.
The Treasure of Yucky Mama
Yucky Mama's old treasure map is discovered during Oscar's spring dusting. The map shows how Sesame Street used to look 50 years ago. To find the treasure, Oscar, Elmo, Abby, Nina, and Charlie use the map to find their way around Sesame Street, comparing the places that used to be on the Street to the places that are there now, and complete three grouchy challenges. A rock star is performing on Sesame Street, but his equipment is in the wrong town. The gang helps build and design replacements so the show can go on.

Alan explains that the Fourth of July is really a day for family, friends and neighbors to come together. He then comes up with the idea of doing something kind for their neighbors. So together, they pick up trash and plant in the garden. It's the perfect present for America.
Let's Go Camping
Season finale. Chris and Elmo are excited to be camping in the woods! All kinds of animals join Chris and Elmo for the camp out. After Chris find the right kind of food for each animal, they all eat dinner together. Elmo and Chris they both agree they should have a sleepover like this every night!
Ramp Racers
Elmo and Rosita want to race their ping-pong balls, but the only ramp on Sesame Street is being used. This is a problem! They wonder if they can make another ramp. What if they use cardboard? Let’s try! It works. With Julia’s help, Elmo and Rosita didn’t give up, and they built two long ramps. They all get a chance to race their ping-pong balls – Julia, too!
Camp Out

Happy Holidays on Sesame Street! Elmo and Baby Bear’s parents are running late from their holiday concert, so they stay with Alan and Nina at Hooper’s store. But Elmo and Baby Bear are disappointed that they can’t celebrate Christmas Eve and Hanukkah like they had planned. Alan wonders if they can make Hooper’s more festive for his friends, so Elmo, Baby Bear, Nina, and Alan sing carols, make latkes, and create lots of holiday decorations. It’s a wonderful, creative holiday celebration that helps Elmo and Baby Bear realize that the holidays are about being together with friends and family.
It's Sesame Circus
Welcome to Sesame Circus! Elmo wants to perform, but he can’t think of what to do. This is a problem! Elmo wonders what amazing and exciting thing he can do for his circus act. What if he rides his tricycle down a ramp and through a hoop? Let’s try! It works. With help from his friends, Elmo didn’t give up, and he performed his fantastic circus act.
Return of the Fairytale Helpers
The gingerbread house from the fairytale “Hansel and Gretel” has fallen. This sounds like a job for the Fairytale Helpers! Abby zaps Chris, Elmo, and Cookie Monster to Fairytale Land to fix the walls, but they fall again. This is a problem! Sneeze a Season
Grover wishes he didn’t have a fall cold, so Rudy uses Abby’s wand to change the season. But now, every time Grover sneezes, the seasons change!
Huff, Puff and Away!
After Chris reads the story of the “Three Little Pigs,” Elmo wonders if they can change it so the wolf isn’t mean. What if the wolf brought housewarming presents to the pigs and accidentally sneezed the houses away because of allergies? Let’s try! Elmo, Abby, Rosita, and Chris act out their new story, where the Big Kind Wolf becomes friends with the three little pigs, and they all live happily ever after.
